    摘要: An image processing system having an input controller, a file server, an image setter, and a work station, each of which includes a separate and independent CPU. These CPUs operate simultaneously to provide high speed image processing. This system allows a user to combine and interactively edit various types of information, such as characters, designs and images, when the information is displayed upon a work station. After a user interactively edits this image information, a composed final image is stored in memory. The system also eliminates pattern frames, representing contour border lines around segments of the image, by superimposing an eliminating frame upon the contour lines.

    摘要: In a color liquid crystal display device, the shape of a color filter cannot be seen and coloring of areas other than a display area due to leaking light is prevented. By making a first and second segment electrodes in a two layer construction, it becomes possible to display two different display image planes in different colors with only the single layer type color liquid crystal display device. Further, sufficient contrast can be obtained by using a liquid crystal element for compensation. It is also possible to display two kinds of display image planes, namely a color display image plane and a black and white display image plane. Two kinds of color display image planes can be displayed because the color liquid crystal display device is made in a two layered construction. A so-called normally black display and normally white display can be switched. Further, when the display state is switched between normally black display and normally white display, the background color changes and it is possible to maintain the same display color. Further display colors can be doubled as compared to the example of the prior art.

    摘要: An image processing system is provided with an input controller, a file server, an image setter and a work station each having respectively an independent CPU, e.g., a microprocessor, a microcomputer or the like, which allows each unit to operate independently in an parallel manner so as to carry out image processing efficiently at a high speed, while a hard copy or a block copy for printing with a high quality image being fit into a frame on a layout pasteboard by means of an image output apparatus can be obtained by interactive-editing information on the layout pasteboard as well as designs and characters, to minimize the capacity of the memory. According to one aspect of the invention, the system is adapted to output a composed image according to a method comprising the steps of: inputting and storing an image of the layout pasteboard and an image for printing by reading through the input controller, carrying out a layout drawing at the work station wherein operations are performed with relatively low quality data thinned from the read data, and then performing correction with respect to picture elements so that the image may exactly fit into the frame when the composed image is recorded or output by the image output unit, which has a higher resolution than the work station.

    摘要: In a color liquid crystal display device of the invention, light-blocking members of predetermined configurations (characters, graphics etc.) are disposed on the surface of one side of a liquid crystal display element, that is to say the surface on the side opposite to the light source, and the predetermined configurations are displayed on the color liquid crystal display device by blocking the light from the light source with the light-blocking members. Further, a light-scattering plate is disposed between the light source and the liquid crystal display element, or between the liquid crystal display element and the light-blocking members. It is possible to allow transmission of a part of the light blocked by the light-blocking members by scattering the light which is transmitted through the liquid crystal display element with the arrangement of the light-scattering plate. Therefore, around the periphery of the light-blocking members, the color balance of the transmitted light breaks down and only a specific color of light is transmitted, thereby preventing the colored and blurred appearance of the peripheral part of the light-blocking members. Based upon this, the display quality of the color liquid crystal display device is markedly improved.
