摘要: A photography system includes: a camera containing a first communication unit; and a photography illumination device containing a second communication unit, wherein: the camera wirelessly transmits from the first communication unit to the second communication unit a first signal that commands, from the camera side to the photography illumination device side, a preparatory flash emission that precedes a main flash emission during photography; the photography illumination device wirelessly transmits from the second communication unit to the first communication unit a second signal that includes flash emission timing information of the preparatory flash emission, and that carries information, from the photography illumination device side to the camera side, as to the effect that the first signal has been received; and the camera starts photometric processing during the preparatory flash emission based upon the flash emission timing information.

摘要: An auto-focusing device for stably drive a photographing lens to track a moving object comprises charge accumulation type photo-electric conversion means for accumulating charges at a predetermined time interval to produce a focus detection signal, defocus amount calculation means for calculating a defocus amount of the photographing lens based on the focus detection signal, drive distance calculation means for calculating a direction and a distance of the lens drive for driving the photographing lens to track the moving object based on at least the defocus amount, drive means for driving the photographing lens in accordance with the calculated direction and distance of the lens drive, and control means for supplying the direction and distance of the lens drive calculated by the drive distance calculation means to the drive means after the end of the next charge accumulation by the photo-electric conversion means to drive the photographing lens so that the photographing lens tracks the moving object.

摘要: An improved silver halide photographic material that has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support and that contains a hydrazine derivative in said emulsion layer or an adjacent layer. The improvement is that said emulsion layer or at least one of the other hydrophilic colloidal layers contains at least one of the compounds represented by the following general formulas (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.1 ' are each a group selected from among a substituted or unsubstituted alkane residue, an alkene residue, a benzene residue, a cyclohexane residue and a nitrogenous heterocyclic residue; R.sub.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sub.3, R.sub.3 ', R.sub.4 and R.sub.4 ' are each a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted methyl group, provided that R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 or R.sub.3 ' are not a methyl group at the same time; Y is a divalent organic residue; M and M' are each a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an ammonium salt or an organic amine salt; P is a positive integer; and m is 0 to 1.

摘要: A camera having a continuous photographing mode in which an exposure operation and a one frame-wind-up operation of a film are repeatedly carried out, comprising RAM, CCD, A/D convertor, a motor, encoder and AF lens control device. The CCD and A/D convertor detect a defocus distance of a photographing lens and form a data representing the detected defocus distance and store said data in the RAM. The motor drives the photographing lens. The encoder detects a driven distance of the photographing lens driven by the motor to generate a detection signal and the motor drives the photographing lens such that the drive distance represented by the detection signal coincides with the defocus distance represented by the data of the RAM. The AF lens control device discontinues the drive of the photographing lens by the motor prior to the start of the exposure operation in the continuous photographing mode and resumes the drive in the period of a subsequent one-frame wind-up operation. The device controls the motor such that the motor drives the photographing lens in response to the resumption by a distance corresponding to a difference between the drive distance represented by the detection signal at the time of discontinuance and the defocus distance represented by the data of the RAM.

摘要: An auto-focusing camera having an imaging optical system with a focusing lens movable along the optical axis and means for driving the focusing lens said camera comprises:(a) a taking lens unit with the imaging optical system including terminal means having a first electrical contact, first transmission means which, in response to the movement of the focusing lens, feeds the first electrical contact with a voltage having a substantially constant and periodically repeating peak value, and second transmission means which is energized to feed said first electrical contact with a voltage associated with the focal length of the imaging optical system; and(b) a camera body including means for generating an information signal indicating the deviation from a predetermined focal plane of the image of the object that is formed by the imaging optical system, terminal means inclusive of a second electrical contact coupled said first electrical contact and which is coupled to the terminal means in said taking lens unit, response means connected to the second electrical contact which, in response to the first transmission means, feeds an output signal for energizing the second transmission means between peaks of the periodic voltage, and control means preparing a signal for controlling the drive means from the voltage generated at the second electrical contact and the information signal.

摘要: In a camera including a photoelectric converter device disposed in the substantial imaging plane of a phototaking lens, a device for detecting the in-focus or the out-of-focus of the phototaking lens with respect to an object to be photographed from an output of said photoelectric converter device, and a device responsive to the detecting device to drive and control the phototaking lens in a direction to be in focus with respect to the object, there is provided means responsive only to the detection of said in-focus by the detecting device to restrain the operation of the drive control device. The means includes timer means for enabling the continuance of said restraint during a predetermined time after the detection of the out-of-focus by the detecting device.

摘要: An optical sensor receives light of a light emitting tube. A photoelectric current output from the optical sensor is integrated by a capacitor. A stop signal output part compares the generated voltage of the capacitor with a comparison voltage and outputs a light emission stop signal when the generated voltage exceeds the comparison voltage. A voltage setting part predicts, from target amount of light, an amount of overrun light from when the light emission stop signal is output until when light emission of the light emitting tube terminates and sets the comparison voltage so that a total amount of light emission including the amount of overrun light is a target amount of light emission.
