    Abstract: A customizable tile is configured for use with a modular platform system that uses tiles, beams supporting the tiles, and legs supporting the beams. The customizable tiles include a tile sizing structure on an underside thereof. The tile sizing structure includes channels and cutting slots extending in different directions so that the channels and cutting slots intersect. The cutting slots act as a guide to cut the tile to alter its width and/or length so that the tile has a customized size for use in the modular platform system. The channels are configured to receive a support board, if necessary, to provide support for the tile on the beams once the tile is cut to size. The channels can also connect to the beams for tile support if need be.

    Abstract: A mat assembly includes a center section and four ramps that create a unitary mat assembly for any desired use. The center section includes a top plate that provides the desired kind of mat surface for use and a sponge layer underlying the top plate to provide the center section with a cushioned feel during use. Each ramp includes a flange that extends from an end portion of the ramp, the flange configured to be joined between the top plate and sponge insert. The ramps can be joined to each other using a connector or a mitered connection.

    Abstract: An interlocking modular mat having four sides has female connectors on two sides and male connectors on the other two sides so that the modular mat can interlock with an adjacent mat and its connectors. The modular mat is configured with a plurality of structures surrounding a periphery of a top portion of the mat. The plurality of structures in combination with an underside of the top portion of the mat form a cavity. A sponge insert is configured to fit in the cavity and have a height such that a portion of the sponge insert extends from a bottom side the mat body. With the sponge insert extending beyond the bottom side of the mat body, the sponge insert bottom face generally become the supporting bottom of the modular mat to provide a more cushioned feel for a mat user.
