Abstract:
An exemplary orienting structure includes two locating units, a first supporting bump, and a second supporting bump. Each of the locating units includes a first portion and a second portion perpendicular to the first portion. The first supporting bump and the locating units cooperatively define a sliding track configured for slidingly receiving a male connector. A female connector is disposed on the second supporting bump and aligned with the sliding track. The first portions of the locating units function as guides for blocking movement along a first axis of the sliding track. The first supporting bump in cooperation with the second portions of the locating units function as guides for blocking movement along a second axis of the sliding track. When the male connector is slid along the sliding track, the sliding is in a direction perpendicular to both the first and second axes of the sliding track.
Abstract:
An exemplary liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, and a plastic frame accommodating the liquid crystal panel. The liquid crystal panel includes a display region, and peripheral regions adjacent to the display region. The plastic frame includes an opening defined in portions where a first side wall is located, two second side walls adjacent to the first side wall, two sliding guides defined at opposite inner sides of portions of the plastic frame that are adjacent to the second side walls, and a stopping board. The opening allows the liquid crystal panel to be inserted into the plastic frame therethrough. The sliding guides communicate with the opening, and are allow the liquid crystal panel to slide into the plastic frame therealong. The stopping board abuts the peripheral regions of the liquid crystal panel for limiting the liquid crystal panel from undesirably departing from the plastic frame.
Abstract:
An exemplary external electrode fluorescent lamp includes a fluorescent tube having two electrodes fixed at two ends thereof, and two inner caps respectively holding the electrodes. Each inner cap includes an electrode receiving portion configured for receiving the electrode, a conductive layer provided at inner surfaces of the electrode receiving portion, a lead receiving portion integrally formed with the electrode receiving portion, and a conductive lead received in the lead receiving portion. The conductive layer contacts the conductive layer. A backlight module employing the external electrode fluorescent lamp is also provided.
