摘要: A battery charging device of the present invention has a rectifier portion that is formed by switching elements, and performs advance angle/delay angle control. An advance angle/delay angle amount in the advance angle/delay angle control is determined based on a differential voltage between the voltage of a battery and a predetermined target voltage. In this case, when a determined delay angle amount exceeds a delay angle limit value, delay angle control is performed using the delay angle limit value. Moreover, the power generation amount of an alternating current generator is detected, and the delay angle amount and power generation amount are stored. If the current delay angle amount is greater than the previous delay angle amount, and the previous power generation amount is greater than the current power generation amount, then the previous delay angle amount is set as the delay angle limit value.

摘要: The electromotive force of each of power generating cells of a fuel cell unit is compared with a first threshold voltage E1 for the electromotive force of the power generating cells immediately after fuel injection or a second threshold voltage E2 for the electromotive force when the fuel is running out. Using the results of comparison, a decision is made as to whether or not the electromotive forces of all the power generating cells exceed the first threshold voltage E1 within a give time τ1 or whether or not the electromotive force of some of the power generating cells falls below the second threshold voltage E2. An annunciator indicates the results of decision.

摘要: Various types of resources of the disk array device are divided for respective users and communications resources used in remote copying are appropriately assigned to the users so that functional interference between the split units is prevented and stable remote copying is realized. SLPRs which are dedicated regions for the respective users are set inside the disk array device 10. Each SLPR is constituted by dividing various types of resources of ports, cache memories, logical units and the like, and cannot be accessed by an unauthorized host computer 1. Furthermore, a manager of one of the SLPRs likewise cannot refer to or alter the constructions of the other SLPRs. During remote copying, the amount of transfer within the unit time is detected for each of the SLPRs. If the amount of transfer within the unit time exceeds the maximum amount of transfer, a response to the host computer 1 from this SLPR is deliberately delayed, so that the inflow of data from the host computer 1 is restricted.

摘要: A storage apparatus enables efficient data restoration even if restoration is attempted using several different restoration points. The storage system is connected to a host apparatus, and includes a storage unit having various logical volumes formed therein and a controller configured to control I/O processing with respect to the storage unit. The controller stores journal data for a data volume in a journal volume, and also stores snapshot data for the data volume in a snapshot volume. In accordance with a restoration request designating a restore point, the controller restores the data volume to the state it was in as of the designated restore point, by applying the snapshot data stored in the snapshot volume and subsequently applying the journal data stored in the journal volume. During that process, the controller saves the data in the data volume to which certain journal data is going to be applied, in a journal backup volume.

摘要: An atopic dermatitis inducer binding to a human own IgE antibody and activating mast cells and basophiles, which includes a purified human secretion fraction, or an antigenic molecule or an antigenic determinant in the purified fraction, and obtained through the following steps of: filtering a human secretion, removing insoluble matters and collecting the filtrate; mixing the filtrate with a ConA-affinity carrier and collecting the supernatant; and separating a component having a histamine-releasing activity from the supernatant by column chromatography. This inducer is effective in diagnosing and treating human atopic dermatitis.

摘要: A body of a vehicle, that is supported by a carrier or conveyor is rotated about a rotational axis extending in an approximately horizontal direction of the carrier or conveyor. When the body is supported in a normally standing position with its roof at the top of the body and its floor at the bottom thereof, the center of gravity of a rotary member containing the body is set to be at a position underneath the rotational axis in a vertically extending plane containing the rotational axis. The body is locked by a clamping unit so as to prevent rotation when the body is coated in the coating station. In the drying station, the locking by the clamping unit is released and the body is then displaced at a given angle so as to cause rotation on account of inertia on the basis of its own weight. After the drying station, the forcible rotation is shifted to free rotation which in turn is caused to be converged into a rest or normally standing position. The body is then aligned in its normally standing position and released from the carrier or conveyor. This arrangement can reduce force required for starting the rotation of the body and the force needed for suspending the rotation of the body.

摘要: A baking oven is divided into a first baking oven and a second baking oven. A conveyor line is also divided into two sections, a first conveyor line section being so disposed as to pass through the first baking oven only, and a second conveyor line section being so disposed as to pass through the second baking oven only. A substrate is coated with a paint and then conveyed through the first baking oven while being so supported by a carrier with a rotating device and being rotated about its approximately horizontal axis extending in a longitudinal direction thereof with the rotating device. The rotation of the substrate is carried out at a speed which is high enough to prevent the paint coated from sagging due to gravity yet which is low enough so as to cause no sagging as a result of centrifugal force. After baking in the first baking oven, the substrate is then changed over in a position prior to the second baking oven from the carrier with the rotating device to the carrier without the rotating device, namely, from the first conveyor line section to the second conveyor line section and conveyed to the second baking oven wherein the substrate is further baked.
