    摘要： The invention provides a fastener stringer for a concealed slide fastener in which right and left fastener tapes respectively include a tape body portion, a tape bend portion bent into a U-shape and an element mounting portion, a hollow weave portion is formed at each fastener tape, and a film body is accommodated in the hollow weave portion in a state of being sewn together with a fastener element as one side edge thereof being located to the tape bend portion side from a sewing thread. Accordingly, since stiffness of the hollow weave portion is improved by the film body, a closely-contacted state between the right and left tape bend portions is stably maintained and concealing characteristics of the concealed slide fastener can be improved.

    摘要： A metallic engaging element of vintage type having a pair of leg portions formed so as to branch to right and left sections from the bottom of a body portion of the engaging element. The leg portions are formed into an L-like sectional shape including a sheet-like nipping portion and a leg portion side wall. The sheet-like nipping portion has a notch portion for sandwiching one side edge portion of a fastener tape from the front and rear surfaces. At least one projecting portion is formed in each of leg portion inner wall surfaces opposing the one side edge portion of the fastener tape in the leg portion side wall.

    摘要： A slide closure for joining overlapping edges of flexible or rigid substrates having complementary touch fasteners thereon. The slide closure has a pair of closing surfaces facing each other and structure joining the closing surfaces together so as to define two channels opening in opposite directions. The substrates are received within the channels such that they overlap between the closing surfaces. The closing surfaces converge to a nip having a dimension small enough to cause the complementary touch fasteners to engage when the slide closure is displaced along the overlapping edges in a first direction. The slide closure may further include a spanning member disposed generally between the closing surfaces that serves to structurally join the closing surfaces, partly define the channels on either side, and provide diverging separating surfaces that cause the complementary touch fasteners to disengage when the slide closure is displaced in a second direction opposite the first direction. The touch fasteners may be Velcro or the like, and a slide closure may include a strap bracket for ease of manipulation. Guide grooves within the slide closure may be provided to receive ribs or other such features on the substrates and maintain the substrates within the slide closure.
