摘要： An Accessory Footrest Attachment is disclosed. The footrest attachment is designed to give children and others having legs that are shorter than normal adult legs a rest for their feet. The attachment has at least two configurations—one for installation on a conventional vehicle seat and one for installation on a typical residential chair. In either configuration, the footrest attachment preferably has a flip-up footplate so that the device can be made compact for storage when not in use. Furthermore, the attachment includes an associated stabilizing mat that is designed to be captured between the seated user and the seat, and that would keep the footrest attachment in an upright and stable condition. The footrest attachment and associated stabilizing mat is height-adjustable to account for variance in user and chair sizes.

摘要： A glider with massage devices includes a chair guiding mechanism, a chair frame, a back cushion, a seat cushion and a plurality of vibration generators. The chair guiding mechanism has a fixing portion and a gliding portion glidably mounted on the fixing portion. The chair frame is fixed on the gliding portion. The back cushion and the seat cushion are detachably mounted on the chair frame and the vibration generators are embedded in the back cushion and the seat cushion. When users sit in the glider with massage devices, they can rock themselves back and forth to relax via the chair gliding mechanism, and further, the vibration generators mounted in the back cushion and the seat cushion of the glider can provide a massage effect so that the users can have massages while sitting in the glider.

摘要： An adjustable support assembly is described for use with any prior art seating device having a post and a plurality of substantially horizontal legs. In some embodiments, the support assembly has a support with at least two voids for mounting to the post of the seating device, and at least one leg. The outer perimeter of the support is moveable outwardly with respect to the post of the seating device via selective engagement with one of the voids. Further, the attachment of the legs to the support provides a way to selectively lock the support to prevent rotation of the support about the post. A method of adjusting the support is also disclosed.

摘要： A seating system is provided having a chair with a storage bay below the seat thereof and a cart-like ottoman which is storable within the storage bay. A connector arrangement is provided within the storage bay which positively engages the ottoman with the chair when the ottoman is rolled into the storage bay to a fully docked position. The chair and ottoman both include casters and the connector arrangement allows for both components to be moved simultaneously to a new position. In particular, preferably the chair includes casters on the front thereof and a handle on the back whereby lifting of the handle allows the chair as well as the docked cart to be tilted upwardly and rolled in unison to a new position.

摘要： A posture control device that maintains an individual's posture in a correct position by elevating the upper portion of the thighs. The thigh elevation device elevates the thighs, which causes the pelvis to automatically rotate anteriorly. The rotation results in an increased curvature of the lumbo-sacral spine which properly aligns the vertebrae with one another. One embodiment uses a stand-alone thigh elevation device which is positioned below the upper portion of the thigh of a user when the user is sitting. An alternative embodiment uses a specially designed seat cushion with an elevated portion to control leg position in the same manner. The seat cushion can be detachable or an integral part of a chair. Optional features include cushion securing devices including straps and/or hook and loop attachments. An alternative embodiment uses an inflatable thigh elevation device which allows the user or medical personnel to dynamically adjust the angle of the user's leg.
