摘要： A mimeographic printing apparatus having a printing drum wound with a stencil and a clamping plate for fastening one end of the stencil on the drum. An elastic holding device is provided over a clamping position with a gap from the drum enough to receive one end of the supplied stencil. The holding device is, at the clamping state, pressed by the clamping plate to fasten one end of the stencil on the printing drum. At the non-clamping position, the holding device returns to the original position and here restrains the external curling of the stencil. The result is that the stencil thereafter reliably introduced to the removing device, thereby realizing a normal stencil-removing operation.

摘要： A magnet strip extends along a line on the peripheral surface of a printing drum of a rotary stencil printing device and parallel to the rotational axis thereof. A clamp strip, made of a material which is magnetically attractable, can be selectively positioned as lying against and along the magnet strip with a leading edge of a stencil master for stencil printing interposed therebetween so as to clamp the leading edge of the stencil master to the printing drum, or removed away from the magnet strip so as to release the stencil master. Thereby the stencil master can be conveniently retained to the printing drum in a manner which is suitable for automation, and does not require any reinforced lug portion along the leading edge of the stencil master.

摘要： A cartridge for containing sheets to be fed into a reprographic machine comprising a container having an opening and a support band wound from a feed reel to a take-up reel mounted on said container, and carrying thereon sheets spaced along and interwound with the band on the feed reel. The support band and a sheet positioned thereon is guided from the feed reel to the take-up reel along a predetermined path passing adjacent to the opening. Adjacent to the opening the sheet is separated from the band to guide it through the opening, whereby the sheet is fed out from the cartridge.

摘要： A device for retaining the trailing end of a master sheet on a printing machine drum includes a retainer member movable between an open position for receiving the trailing end and a closed position for holding the trailing end of the master sheet. An actuating means, provided on an impression cylinder in printing relationship with the printing machine drum, acts against the trailing end of the master sheet which acts against the retainer member in such a way as to move the retainer member to the open position and the trailing end of the master sheet under the retainer member. Spring means is provided for restoring the retainer member to the closed position and for maintaining it closed and in holding engagement with the trailing end of the master sheet during a printing operation.

摘要： In a stencil sheet clamping construction for clamping a leading end portion of a stencil sheet to a stencil printing drum, a press plate is set at a half open position making an acute angle against an upper surface of a base portion when the leading end portion of the stencil sheet is mounted. This allows the leading end portion of the stencil sheet to be lifted above the upper surface of the base portion by floating up of an elastic film belt when the stencil sheet is discharged. This also prevents obstruction of the smooth advance of the leading end portion of the stencil when it is mounted due to the floating up of the elastic film belt.

摘要： Apparatus suitable for conveying sheets of various dimensions past a scanning station in a facsimile transceiver in which a longitudinally extending bar is resiliently biassed radially inwardly of a rotatable drum member to a normal position engaging the leading edge of a sheet between a projecting lip on the bar and a portion of the drum periphery. A resiliently biassed wiper bar extending longitudinally along the drum periphery holds a sheet tautly against the drum periphery at the scanning station as the drum is rotated. An access door over the drum when opened beyond a predetermined position permits attachment or removal of a sheet from the drum by pivoting a cam to engage the bar member as the drum is rotated to a predetermined position of rotation.
