摘要： A roll-up closure device for typically collapsible vehicle shelters of the type having a structure made of assembled tubular members and cross-members and a complementary covering therefor made of a flexible plastics material and defining at the front end thereof a door opening. The side walls of the shelter are inclined in such a way as to diverge from top to bottom, whereby the door opening has generally a isosceles trapezoidal shape. The device includes a pair of opposed side guide rails mounted at laterally opposite sides of the door opening so as to follow the angled sides thereof, an overhead motor driven roll-up boom extending above the door opening, and a flexible closure shaped like the door opening and having its lateral side edges slidably engaged in the guide rails, whereby the closure device does not substantially reduce the lateral dimensions of the door opening. Cables attached to the roll-up boom are secured to the lateral edges of the closure so that the rotation of the boom causes the cables to wind around respective tapered pulleys provided near each end of the boom with the closure in a rolled attitude extending between the pulleys. Stretched elastics are secured to the lower part of the closure to laterally retract the side edges of the latter towards each other as the closure is being raised. A tensioning mechanism is provided to ensure that the cables remain taut at any position of the closure.

摘要： A portable garage is disclosed that has a tubular frame having a horizontal central roof ridge and two spaced parallel side edge members supported by a plurality of generally vertical legs. The frame is constructed of tubular sections and joint members that telescopically and removably connect together. A removable flexible sheet of preferably waterproof fabric material spans the roof ridge and extends over the side edge members of the frame and is fastened to the side edge members with a plurality of spaced buckle and strap fasteners that are secured to the roof material at a location spaced from the side edges of the sheet. The garage has removable fabric material side walls fastened to the frame, a rear end wall, and a front end wall fastened to the frame. The front end wall has a pair of spaced parallel vertical zippers defining a flap forming a roll up door. A pair of pulleys are spaced apart above the flap and fastened to the front end wall. A pair of cords passing over the pulleys and around a bottom end of the flap are used to raise and lower the roll up door.

A flexible and collapsible protective cover is integrally attached to at least one half of the floor cover and is capable of pivotal movement between an open position, wherein the motorcycle can be placed on the floor cover, and a closed position, wherein the motorcycle is fully enclosed by the protective cover. A plurality of u-shaped crosspieces create a support frame for the protective cover, and the crosspieces pivot in sequential order for creating the support frame and deploying the protective cover when the leading crosspiece positioned adjacent the opening of the protective cover is grasped and pivoted by the individual. The crosspieces are interconnected at their opposed ends to swivel pockets formed on the opposed inner lowermost central regions of the side panels of the protective cover to facilitate the sequential pivotal movement of the crosspieces for opening and closing the protective cover.

The screw jacks enable the movable structure to be levelled if the ground slopes from one side to the other.
