Abstract:
A system for hydrostatic pressure release of the rocker in the bearing box in an axial piston machine. The pressure-relief system includes slots in the rocker bearing box connected with axial passages through the pistons, pressure pockets in the guide shoes and passageways through the rocker. In order to render the forces in the pressure-relief system essentially constant and speed-independent, the pressure-relief devices of the rocker bearing and four individual slots, two of which are parallel to each other in the region of each of the two bearing surfaces on the rocker and which are connected to the pressure pockets in the guide shoes by the passageways through the rocker.
Abstract:
There are disclosed a shoe which is interposed between a swash plate and a piston of a swash plate type compressor and which converts rotary movement of the swash plate into reciprocal movement of the piston, and a method for manufacturing the same. The shoe has a hemispherical part which is in slidable contact with the surface of a piston defining a hemispherical recess, and a flat end face which is in slidable contact with a bottom end face of the swash plate. According to the method of the invention, a columnar element is compressed in the axial direction for plastic deformation in such a manner that one end of the columnar element is deformed along the inner surface of a hemispherical recess of a die while the other end is urged against the flat end surface of another die. A shoe can be easily manufactured with this method, which has a flank between the hemispherical part which is in slidable contact with the surface of the piston defining the hemispherical recess and the bottom end face of the swash plate which is in slidable contact with the swash plate. According to this method, a hole of a predetermined size may alternatively be formed at the end face of a columnar part of the element, and the end face of the columnar part is cut into a conical shape while reducing the diameter of the hole toward the opening side thereof. Still alternatively, the periphery of the end face of the columnar part may be cut into a conical shape and then pressed to form a hemispherical part. A great flow of the material and local exertion of a high load on the element are prevented.
Abstract:
A swash plate type compressor having shoes provided with center holes on the slidable surfaces. The center hole provided with a bottom acts as a reservoir for lubricating oil and supplys the oil on the slidable surface of the shoe, which slides against the swash plate. There can be a second ring groove concentric to the center hole, or annexed grooves which are stretching outward radially from the center hole. The center hole also prevents the center part from protruding outward by thermal expansion, which is caused by friction. The slidable surface of the shoe is preferably coated with a layer containing solid lubricant so as to smooth the sliding motions.

Abstract:
A compressor having a sealed container; a cylinder in which a compression space is constituted; a suction port and a discharge port which communicate with the compression space in the cylinder; a support member which closes an opening of the cylinder; a rotary shaft which is rotatably supported by a main bearing as a bearing formed on the support member; a compression member whose one surface crossing an axial direction of the rotary shaft is inclined continuously between a top dead center and a bottom dead center; a vane which is disposed between the suction port and the discharge port to abut on one surface side of the compression member and which partitions the compression space in the cylinder into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber. A pressure of the compression member on the other surface side of the compression member is set to a value which is lower than tat of a pressure in the sealed container.
Abstract:
An object is to provide a highly efficient compressor while improving a refrigerant leakage, enhancing a performance of a compressor, improving durability, and enhancing reliability. The compressor comprises: a compression element comprising a cylinder in which a compression space is constituted; a suction port and a discharge port which communicate with the compression space in the cylinder; a support member which closes an opening of the cylinder; a rotary shaft which is rotatably supported by a main bearing as a bearing formed on the support member; a compression member whose one surface crossing an axial direction of the rotary shaft is inclined continuously between a top dead center and a bottom dead center and which is disposed in the cylinder to be rotated by the rotary shaft and which compresses a fluid sucked from the suction port to discharge the fluid via the discharge port; a vane which is disposed between the suction port and the discharge port to abut on one surface of the compression member and which partitions the compression space in the cylinder into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber; and a shaft seal which is disposed on an end portion of the bearing (main bearing) on a side opposite to the compression member and which abuts on the rotary shaft.
Abstract:
A guide member of a wobble plate compressor is slidably mounted in an inner wall surface of a housing of the wobble plate compressor. The guide member comprises a guide part having a U-shaped cross-section and defining a linear guide groove therein into which is slidably inserted a rotation-preventing member rigidly mounted on the wobble plate, and a pair of half cylinder shaped sliding parts mounted on opposite sides of the guide part for sliding in the inner wall surface of the housing. The inner surface of the guide member is hardened by surface treatment.
Abstract:
A variable displacement hydraulic system contains a housing, a cylinder block provided with a plurality of pistons movable in reciprocation, and a swash plate for controlling reciprocation of each of the pistons so that the swash plate is slantwise rotatable along a slidable contact surface of arcuate shape. A thrust metal is mounted to an arcuate contact surface of the housing. Arcuate plates having smooth surfaces of high sliding efficiency are fixed onto outwardly curved portions formed at the rear surface of the swash plate, which is in contact with the thrust metal. Alternatively, a smooth surface layer having a high sliding efficiency is formed on the swash plate by applying chemical processes, thereby reducing the sliding resistance of the swash plate and improving the ease with which the swash plate is restored to the neutral position.
Abstract:
A sealed-type compressor used with HFC refrigerant. The sealed-type compressor houses a motor and compression machinery in a sealed case. The compression machinery includes at least a pair of sliding members wherein one sliding member having aluminum as its main body and having its surface alumite treated and the other sliding member having a metal material. The compressor includes an at least quadrivalent ester oil for the refrigerating machine oil which lubricates the sliding members.
Abstract:
A closed-type compressor includes a closed casing accommodating an electric motor from which a rotational shaft extends and a compressing machine to be operated by the motor and the compressing machine is of a reciprocating-type and provided with sliding portions. A hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant is used as a compressor refrigerant, and a refrigerator oil consisting essentially of ester is used as a lubricating oil. The sliding portions of the compressing machine each is formed of two members one of which is made of cast iron subjected to an insoluble film forming process using manganese phosphate and another one of which is made of carbon steel.
