    摘要: The present invention discloses a standby power supply circuit for a 2-wire bus intercom system and an apparatus thereof. The standby power supply circuit is separated into two power supply modules; in which the first power supply module is a power supply to standby circuit and the second power supply module is a power supply to operation circuit; said power supply to operation circuit is switched off by a constant current switch when the device load is at the standby status; and said power supply to standby circuit comprises a constant current circuit whose alternating current impedance is very large. The solutions of the present invention achieve larger alternating current impedance for the 2-wire intercom system, which can offer sufficient power for many device loads both in the conditions of operation and standby statuses.

A slide-and-twist style form factor allows the device configuration and/or exposed input devices to be changed by the device user. The different device positions may support different operational modes or uses of the device by exposing different input devices. In accordance with one embodiment, there is provided a handheld electronic device, comprising: a first body having a first face and a second face; a second body having a first face and a second face, the first and second input devices being located on the first face of the second body; the first body being connected to the second body for sliding movement between a closed position and a first open position, wherein in the closed position the first body covers at least a portion of the second body, and wherein in the first open position the first input device is exposed on the first face of the second body; and wherein the second body is rotatable relative to the first body between the first open position and a second open position, wherein in the second open position the second input device is exposed on the first face of the second body.

The power input assemblies provide separate cavities with a centerwall for the power input cables to be led into and a cover closing the cavities. The cavities allow power cables to enter through either a top open end or a bottom open end and the cover is adapted to close the other open end when installed. Alternatively, the housing can be oriented with the open ends of the cavities to the sides, permitting cables to enter through either side and the cover closing the other side.

A detector circuit and a recorder circuit are placed in series or in parallel on the electrical connections between the integrated circuit devices and the voltage pins connected to outside power sources. When a voltage source is connected and an over-voltage condition is detected, the detector circuit short-circuits the connection while the recorder circuit records the event for later investigation.

    摘要: A network interface device (NID) for connecting a telecommunications line to a subscriber premises. The NID includes an enclosure that houses wiring, connectors, and active telecommunications devices. A cooling device, such as a fan, is used for cooling the active devices within the NID and is powered by a storage capacitor. The capacitor is charged by current from telecommunications signals on the telecommunications line using a power regulating circuit. The active devices within the NID generate heat, and the cooling device maintains a desired operating temperature within the NID. In one embodiment, the NID includes electronic components used for providing DSL service to the subscriber, and the lower frequency voice components of the telecommunications signals received at the NID are used for charging the capacitor. A microserver within the NID senses the current levels provided to the NID and to an active component module (e.g., DSL modem), and senses the electrical charge level at the storage capacitor. If current to the NID and DSL modem are insufficient, an alarm signal is generated. If the charge level at the storage capacitor is below a predetermined level, current from the telecommunications line is supplied to the capacitor.
