摘要: The present invention relates to a walking sole for converting any athletic shoe into a walking shoe. The sole includes an outer sole for conforming generally to the sole of an athletic shoe to provide traction for the wearer, and an elasticized upper for securing the outer sole to the lower exterior portion of the shoe. The outer sole is defined by a bottom layer of a durable material suitable for the sole of a walking shoe, and an upper layer sufficiently resilient to absorb the impression caused by a cleat when the walking sole is worn on a shoe with cleats and to return substantially to its original shape when the walking sole is removed from the shoe. The sole is used to convert any athletic shoe into a walking shoe so that athletic shoes can be worn throughout the day rather than requiring the wearer to carry a second pair of shoes when the wearing of athletic shoes will be required.

摘要: An article of footwear has a moldably attached upper and an outsole having a textile layer integrally embedded in an outsole layer at the ground-contacting surface. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the entire outer shell of the footwear article is simultaneously assembled during a single injection molding process. In a preferred embodiment, the outsole layer is molded from thermoplastic resin. The textile employed for the ground-contacting textile layer can be any natural or man-made textile. In one embodiment, the outsole extends around the side of the shoe, moldably attaching to the upper across a large width. Integral formation of the textile-covered outsole provides one of the significant advantages of the invention, prevention of tearing of the ground-contacting textile outsole layer and/or separation of the textile outsole layer from the outsole. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the outsole layer has treads to which the textile outsole layer is moldably conformed.

摘要: An improved expandable shoe and inner assembly are disclosed. The expandable shoe includes an outer shell and an adjustable inner assembly is disposed within the outer shell. The inner assembly has a first board portion and a second board portion in overlapping engagement with each other and a control to adjust the position of the first board portion relative to the second board portion. One of the board portions has a longitudinal projection which extends into a corresponding cavity in the sole of the shoe.

摘要: Full or partial footwear attaching anti slip surface grippers that one would wear over footwear to prevent slipping on slippery surfaces (comprising snowy, icy, watery, oily, greasy, waxy, soapy surfaces, etc . . . ) comprising, a footwear attaching mechanism that partially or fully covers footwear and secures the surface gripping mechanism to the full or partial bottom sole of footwear. The full or partial footwear attaching anti slip surface grippers are easily/conveniently detached or attached to footwear, are inexpensive, lightweight, cosmetically appealing, adjustable, easy to store, makes it possible for the people to have surface gripping ability outside of the sports arena where special purpose or sporting surface gripping shoes (mountain boots, snow shoes, snow sandals, football, baseball, or golf cleats) are worn and reduces the number of injuries from falls on ice in the winter.

摘要: A midsole structure for an athletic shoe includes a midsole (3) formed of a soft elastic material and extending from a shoe heel region through a midfoot region to a forefoot region and a plastic shank member (10) or shankpiece and provided at regions that cover a midfoot portion (B) of the midsole (3) and having an oblong cross sectional shape where a dimension (W) in a shoe elongated direction is greater than a dimension (h) in the vertical direction. Thus, flexural rigidity of the midfoot portion (B) of the midsole (3) increases. When a bending moment is applied to themidsole (3), the shankmember (10) effectively exercises a so-called nullshank effectnull and thus, bending deformation can be prevented from occurring at the midfoot portion (B) of the midsole (3). As a result, flexibility or bendability of the forefoot portion (C) of the midsole (3) can be relatively advanced.

摘要: A construction for a shoe, particularly an athletic shoe, which includes a sole that conforms to the natural shape of the foot shoe, including the bottom and the sides, when that foot sole deforms naturally by flattening under load while walking or running in order to provide a stable support base for the foot and ankle. Deformation sipes such as slits or channels are introduced in horizontal plane of the shoe sole to provide it with flexibility roughly equivalent to that of the foot. The result is a shoe sole that accurately parallels the frontal plane deformation of the foot sole, which creates a stable base that is wide and flat even when tilted sideways in extreme pronation or supination motion. In marked contrast, conventional shoe soles are rigid and become highly unstable when tilted sideways because they are supported only by a thin bottom edge.

摘要: A shoe comprises a flexible outersole, an insole and an upper, the upper being formed from a flat Thermo Plastic Rubber blank, a toe cap first being fabricated in the blank by means of a teacup crease special-use sewing machine, the blank or preform subsequently affixed to a last and joined by a second special purpose sewing machine, or disc feed overseaming machine, to a non-woven fabric midsole or insole, substantially completing the upper. Thermal processing on the resulting preform completes processing of the upper without use of an insole board. A third element of the shoe, the outersole, is unitary in construction, and equipped with a unique pattern of intersecting grooves, as well as an external bridge or instep support in lieu of an inner steel shank. Following bonding of the upper and the outersole, a shoe of unique flexibility is produced, while still providing adequate protection to an active user's foot.
