摘要： A method is provided for producing a tablet, especially a detergent tablet, which includes at least one first and one second layer. The method comprises the following steps: (a) introducing a first metered quantity of a first particulate composition into a molding cavity of a tablet press; (b) compacting the first metered quantity with a first mold pressure by means of a molding punch that has at least one convexity on its pressing surface, to produce a first compacted layer that has one or more respective indentations in its upper surface that corresponds to a convexity/convexities on the molding punch; (c) introducing a second metered quantity of a second particulate composition into the molding cavity of the tablet press on top of the first compacted layer; and (d) compacting the second metered quantity with a second mold pressure by means of a molding punch, to produce a second compacted layer with one or more respective indentations in its upper surface.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a molded detergent composition is provided. The method includes a step of mixing a hydrated component and a hydratable component to provide a mixture, and molding the mixture to provide a molded detergent composition having a melting point greater than about 30° C. The hydrated component has a melting point below about 100° C. and includes a transhydration product of anhydrous material and water of hydration. The anhydrous material has a melting point greater than about 300° C. The hydratable component includes water, if present at all, at a level of less than about 2 wt. % based on the weight of the hydratable component. The hydratable component of the water of a molded detergent composition is provided.

摘要： Synthetic detergent formulations are made by spray drying an aqueous dispersion or emulsion of a synthetic detergent and a hydrophobic plasticizer and optionally a filler to produce a particulate product. In particular the synthetic detergent includes mild surfactants such as fatty isethionate or sulphosuccinate surfactants. By spray drying the emulsion or dispersion, a particularly uniform product is made which can readily be formed into synthetic detergent bars which may include soap to form combination bar products (combi-bars).

摘要： A granular detergent product is made by spraying a liquid binder to contact a particulate solid starting material in a low shear granulator such as a fluidized bed apparatus. The d3,2 average droplet diameter of the liquid binder is not greater than ten times the d3,2 average particle diameter of that fraction of the solid starting material which has a d3,2 particle diameter of from 20 &mgr;m to 200 &mgr;m provided that if more than 90% by weight of the solid starting material has a d3,2 average particle diameter less than 20 &mgr;m then the d3,2 average particle diameter of the total solid starting materials shall be taken to be 20 &mgr;m. If more than 90% by weight of the solid starting material has a d3,2 average particle diameter greater than 200 &mgr;m than the d3,2 average particle diameter of the total starting solid material shall be taken to be 200 &mgr;m.

According to the process, starting detergent materials are mixed with an initial amount of surfactant paste and then allowed to age for a specified period of time. 摘要： A process for the production of detergent tablets containing surfactants, builders and optionally other detergent ingredients. To produce the tablets, particulate detergent compositions containing 5 to 20% by weight of an overdried amorphous silicate, 0.5 to 10% by weight of polyethylene glycol and 1 to 15% by weight of water or aqueous solutions, based on the weight of the tablet formed, are tabletted under pressure. Despite low tabletting pressures, the process according to the invention gives tablets combining high fracture resistance and stability in storage with excellent dissolving behavior.
