The extension arm being supported by a mounting bracket supporting the extension arm in a cantilevered manner to the ironing board and a pair of shoulder arms, one positioned on each side of the ironing board in juxtaposed relation to the sides of the board; the shoulder arms including a radius portion in cross-section similar to the extension arm and a bracket for each shoulder arm mountable on the ironing board sides permitting sliding longitudinal movement of each shoulder arm.

    摘要： Pants pressing apparatus including a buck around which an operator turns the top or waist end of a pair of pants and cycles a pressing head with respect to the buck to perform the top end pressing operation. The apparatus includes a rotator mechanism including a clamp assembly which grasps the bottom end or cuffs of the pants and turns the cuffs and legs of the pants incrementally through 360.degree. as the operator is topping the waist end of the pants. The finished pants are thus free of any undesirable wrinkles.

    摘要： A trouser presser includes a trouser carrier for holding a pair of washed trousers in a desired attitude. The trouser carrier includes a waist pad for receiving the waist portion of the trousers to shape it and a bottom stretcher for receiving the bottoms of the trousers to stretch them. Heat plates are provided for pressing from both sides the pair of washed trousers to dry them. A first drive is provided for moving the trouser carrier up and down, and a second drive for horizontally reciprocating the trouser carrier between a trouser loading position and a trouser press position. The second drive includes a horizontal guide rod, an arm base slidably mounted on the guide rod, a pair of arms having one end thereof pivotally mounted on the arm base and the other end thereof pivotally mounted on the trouser carrier, a guide rail extending substantially in parallel with the guide rod and having one end portion thereof bent at a predetermined angle, a restriction plate fixedly mounted on one of the arms at its end portion near the arm base at a predetermined angle with respect to the arms, and a pair of rollers mounted on both ends of the restriction plate and rollingly received in the guide rail, for causing the trouser carrier to be swung by an angle corresponding to the bent angle of the guide rail when the rollers move along the elbow portion of the guide rail and to move substantially in a straight line when the rollers move along the straight portion of the guide rail.

    摘要： A stretching and folding clamping assembly for retaining a workpiece in a predetermined position, wherein a lower clamp arm is pivotally and displaceably mounted on a support bracket. An upper clamp arm is pivotally attached to the lower clamp arm and a pair of attached toggle levers are connected at one end to the support bracket and at a further end to the upper clamp arm. A spring assembly is attached to the support bracket and toggle arms for biasing the toggle arms and upper clamp arm into one of two stable positions, namely an open position wherein end portions of the upper and lower clamp arms are spaced from one another or a closed position wherein end portions of the clamp arms are adjacent one another. A locking mechanism is arranged between one of the clamp arms and the support bracket to retain the clamp arms in the closed, stable position until a desired opening movement of the clamping assembly is initiated.
