摘要： An electric power blower (1) includes a handle (5) mounting therein a disk-shaped speed change dial (9) which is capable of rotation on a shaft (10). The speed change dial (9) is disposed between a speed change switch (6) and a trigger switch (8) and has a cut-out (12) formed therein through which the trigger switch (8) can pass without interference, depending on the rotational position of the dial (9). The speed change dial (9) includes a stopper (13) at an free end which defines the cut-out (12). A first regulating surface (14) and a second regulating surface (15) are provided on the stopper (13), forming an angled corner therebetween. The peripheral surface of the speed change dial (9) is exposed to the outside of the blower (1) through two windows (18) in both sides of the handle (5) adjacent to the trigger switch (8) so as to allow manual rotation. The amount by which the trigger switch (8) is pulled into the handle is determined by the rotational position of the speed change dial (9).

摘要： A locking attachment is for a circuit breaker. The circuit breaker includes a housing enclosing separable contacts and an operating mechanism, an elongated operating member with a handle that operates to open and close the separable contacts, and an opening in the housing through which the elongated operating member protrudes. The opening has first and second ends corresponding to “on” and “off” circuit breaker positions, respectively. The locking attachment includes a locking member having a first end having a compressive segment with opposed portions for compressively capturing the operating member. The second end of the locking member is structured to engage the housing of the circuit breaker at one of the first and second ends of the opening in the housing, thereby locking the circuit breaker in either the “on” or “off” position.

The shackle blocks movement of the operator handle from the OFF to the ON position thereof. The perimeter also includes second opposing portions adapted to alternatively receive the different cross section of a shackle of a padlock with that shackle blocking movement of the operator handle from the OFF to the ON position thereof.

摘要： The invention relates to a locking device mounted directly on a circuit breaker and configured for mounting different locks. The locking device includes a yoke member, a slider member, a handle block and a lock. When the locking device is locked, the handle block abuts the operating handle in an engaged position corresponding to the operating handle in the ON or OFF position. Thus, the locking device locks the circuit breaker in the OFF position or the ON position. The locking device may further comprise a base member disposed between the yoke member and the housing. When it is desired to lock the circuit breaker in the on position, the base member is adapted to cover the push-to-trip button on the housing.

If the electrical contacts of the circuit breaker are welded closed and a torque is applied to the operator handle, the blocking shape prevents the handle operator from being locked in an “OFF” position independently of the operating handle position, by covering a locking hole. The shaft adapter may include one of an extended socket and a recessed socket configured to engage the shaft.
