    摘要: A tool clamping mechanism connects a first member to a second member. The first member has a cylindrical stem with a coupling tooth projecting from the stem. The second member has a clamping cavity formed by the union of a gripping bore and an access hole. The access hole has an access bore and a tooth access hole formed to accommodate the stem and the coupling tooth respectively. The stem diameter of the stem is larger than the gripping bore diameter of the gripping bore. The clamping cavity further has a coupling recess for accommodating the coupling tooth. The coupling recess has a drive surface for engaging a driven surface located on the coupling tooth to create a force which pushes the stem from the access bore into the gripping bore and helps prevent separation of the two members.

    摘要: It is an object to provide a locking device of a core drill which automatically locks a core body when the core body is attached to a base body, the coupling relation between the base body and the core body being fixed unless an unlocking operation is performed by an act of worker, wherein in the core drill including the base body and the core body which are connected to each other by the engagement of an engagement projection with an engagement concave portion, an engagement pawl of the locking device is disposed on the base body, and under the condition that the engagement projection engages the engagement concave portion, the engagement pawl being biased by a compression spring is caused to descend to a back portion of the engagement projection to fix the engagement projection within the engagement concave portion thereby locking the core body.

    摘要: The tool spindle has a drive plate on which a cutter is mounted. Drive keys on the drive plate engage slots in the cutter so that the cutter rotates with the drive plate. A clamp bar is provided to clamp the cutter against the drive plate. The cutter is formed with clearances which register with the clamp bar when the cutter is rotated relative to the clamp bar, so that the cutter may be removed from the drive plate. A new cutter is then reverse rotated into a position in which it may be clamped by the clamp bar. A spring holds the clamp bar in its clamping position. The quick change system also includes two or more locking fingers which are activated by centrifugal force to maintain the cutter clamped to the drive plate even in the event of failure of the spring which normally holds the clamp bar in its clamping position.

    摘要: A split spline screw type payload fastener assembly including three identical male and female type split spline sections. The male spline sections are formed on the head of a male type spline driver. Each of the split male type spline sections have an outwardly projecting load baring segment including a convex upper surface which is adapted to engage a complementary concave surface of a female spline receptor in the form of a hollow bolt head. Additionally, the male spline section also includes a horizontal spline releasing segment and a spline tightening segment below each load bearing segment. The spline tightening segment consists of a vertical web of constant thickness, having at least one flat vertical wall surface which is designed to contact a generally flat vertically extending wall surface tab of the bolt head. Mutual interlocking and unlocking of the male and female splines result upon clockwise and counter clockwise turning of the driver element.

The cover is rotatably mounted onto the adapter and has a polygonal bore that matches the polygonal bore of the adapter. The mandrel of the die has a throat in which the cover sits when the cover is in the locked position. The cover is biased with a spring into the locked position. Stops are provided to limit the movement of the cover between the open and closed positions.

    摘要: A clamping apparatus for clamping the attachment for mounting the tool to the part to which the tool is mounted of the machine tools is disclosed.
