Abstract: Loading, shifting, and staging objects in automated or semi-automated fashion including systems, methods, and apparatuses for the same. The embodiments hereof enable automated and/or semi-automated loading, shifting, organizing, staging, and accessing of objects in different environments, e.g., those associated with a logistics network operation. For example, one such environment is a vehicle. In one aspect, a loading mechanism is used to load objects into a storage space of the vehicle. In another aspect, a shifting mechanism is used to shift objects in a storage space of the vehicle. In another aspect, a door assembly allows for automated opening and closing of a door into a storage space of a vehicle. In addition, methods of manufacturing and using the same are provided.

Abstract: An electric strand gate has at least one electric strand thereacross. The gate comprises an actuator which moves the electric strand up along a hoisting rail from a closed position to an open position, thereby providing clearance thereunderneath for passage of livestock, vehicles and or the like through the gate. The gate may have shuttles travelling along the hoisting rail, each of which is connected to a respective electric strand. The rail and shuttles may be configured so that electric strands are closer together when in the open position, thereby maximising clearance thereunderneath whilst moving apart in the closed position, so as to maintain the full height of the electric fence. The shuttles and the rail may be further configured so that the electric strands are electrically disconnected in the open position.

Abstract: A fitting arrangement for a leaf of a sliding window or door that can be moved away in parallel, includes a control unit having a mounting part for fixing on the leaf and an adjusting part which is displaceable relative to the mounting part for moving the leaf away in parallel. A movement unit is fastened to the control unit and has an energy storage device and an activation element for the energy storage device. A closure arrangement for a building opening, includes a frame, the control unit and the adjusting part. The leaf which, in a closed position, can, by means of the control unit, be brought up to the frame and be moved away from the frame in parallel, so the leaf is displaceable along a guide rail of the frame. The movement unit supports an automatic movement of the leaf along the guide rail.
