    Abstract: The present application provides a backlight module and a display device. The present application converts a display image into control information through a driver board, and can precisely control a mini-LED backlight. The driver board is provided with multiple interfaces for transmitting control signals based on different transmission protocols, so the compatibility of the entire display device is improved. In addition, the driver board can be continuously updated by using programmable devices to meet the needs of users.

The manufacturing method includes the following steps: forming a photoresist layer on an array substrate; performing exposure on at least a portion of the photoresist layer corresponding to a light-emitting element; forming a light-shielding layer on at least a side of the photoresist layer away from the array substrate, wherein the light-shielding layer exposes at least a side portion of the light-emitting element; and laterally stripping the photoresist layer on the light-emitting element with a stripping solution to obtain the backplane unit.

    Abstract: A display panel, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device are provided. In the display panel, a first undercut structure and a second undercut structure are formed along a vertical direction of an overlappingly connecting hole of the first electrode layer and the auxiliary electrode layer. Therefore, an overlappingly connecting area between the first electrode layer and the auxiliary electrode layer can be enlarged. As such, the first electrode layer can be ensured to have high transparency and good conductivity, thereby solving an issue of IP drop of the first electrode. In addition, by using this undercut structure as well as using a metal line layer to overlappingly connect the first electrode layer with the auxiliary electrode layer, the overlappingly connecting area between the first electrode layer and the auxiliary electrode layer can be enlarged without reducing an aperture ratio of the display panel.

    Abstract: A timing controller, a display panel and a driving method are proposed. The display panel includes a display sub-pixel and a virtual sub-pixel. The display sub-pixel includes first sub-pixels, second sub-pixels and third sub-pixels. If the grayscale information of the two adjacent first sub-pixels are the same, then a driving signal of the virtual sub-pixel is the same as a driving signal of a third sub-pixel close to the virtual sub-pixel; otherwise, the driving signal of the virtual sub-pixel is the same as a driving signal of the third sub-pixels, which are outnumbered in the histogram.

    Abstract: The present application provides a micro light emitting diode (LED) display panel and a transfer printing method of a micro LED. The micro LED display panel includes micro LED strips arranged on a driving substrate. Each micro LED strip includes at least two micro LEDs. The micro LEDs are electrically connected to thin film transistors (TFTs) through bottom electrodes of the driving substrate. By having a light shielding layer on the driving substrate, the present application solves problems like light leakage and color mixing of the display panel.

    Abstract: A display device and a controlling method thereof are provided. The display device includes a display panel, a backlight unit, and a time schedule controller. The display panel is configured to display images. Areas where afterimages of dynamic images occur are identified according to comparison results of dither values. Tailing phenomenon of the dynamic images may be relieved by transmitting backlight data without brightness to a second backlight sub-area corresponding to where the afterimages occur. Furthermore, because frequency multiplication is not applied, risks of display instability will not increase.
