    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a TFT substrate having a display region where pixels each having a TFT and a pixel electrode are formed in a matrix, a counter substrate having a display region where color filters of three colors are formed in a matrix, the TFT substrate and the counter substrate being bonded together with a sealing material in a seal portion at a periphery, and liquid crystal sealed between the TFT substrate and the counter substrate by the seal material. In the display region, a first insulation film, a first alignment film, a first columnar spacer, an overcoat film, a first color filter among the color filters of three colors are stacked in this order between the TFT substrate and the counter substrate.

    Abstract: A display device with a touch panel includes a display panel, and a touch panel formed above the display panel. The touch panel includes X electrodes which extend in a first direction, and Y electrodes which extend in a second direction different from the first direction. The X electrodes and the Y electrodes respectively include intersection portions each formed where the X electrodes and the Y electrodes overlap each other, and electrode portions each formed between the intersection portions, wherein the electrode portions of one of the X electrodes is smaller in area than the electrode portions of one of the Y electrodes, and wherein floating electrodes are formed close to the electrode portion of the one of the X electrodes or Y electrodes, and over a reduced portion of the X electrode.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a LCD panel having a first polarizer, a first substrate, a second substrate and a second polarizer are sequentially provided from a front surface side, a frame which surrounds the LCD panel and has a first opening having first to fourth sides, a planar light source disposed on the rear surface side of the LCD panel in the first opening, a plurality of optical sheet groups which are disposed between the planar light source and the LCD panel, and an adhesive layer which has a second opening formed along the first to fourth sides of the frame. A front surface side of the adhesive layer is adhered to the LCD panel along at least the first side, and a rear surface side of the adhesive layer is adhered to the plurality of optical sheet groups and the frame along at least the first side.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor substrate includes: a plurality of gate signal lines extending in a first direction; a plurality of gate lead-out lines and a plurality of dummy gate lead-out lines extending in a second direction; a plurality of common lines extending in at least one of the first direction and the second direction in the pixel region; and a common electrode provided opposite to a pixel electrode and electrically connected to the plurality of common lines. The plurality of gate lead-out lines are connected to the gate signal lines at least at one point of a plurality of intersections between the plurality of gate signal lines and the plurality of gate lead-out lines, and the common potential is applied to the plurality of dummy gate lead-out lines.

    Abstract: A display device including a bidirectional shift register circuit, including: a plurality of cascade-connected register circuits; various circuits for setting various nodes to various voltage levels responsive to various signals input to various terminals; and an output circuit which outputs the clock pulse as an output pulse when the voltage of the first node is high level, wherein, at the forward shift operation, the bottom dummy register circuit is not input the reset signal and the first node of the bottom dummy register circuit is reset if the initial reset circuit of the bottom dummy register circuit receives the backward trigger signal, and wherein, at the backward shift operation, the top dummy register circuit is not input the reset signal and the first node of the top dummy register circuit is reset if the initial reset circuit of the top dummy register circuit receives the forward trigger signal.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: first and second liquid crystal panels disposed to be overlapped with each other; a parallax reduction unit that generates the second output image signal by performing smoothing processing on a first signal based on the input image signal; a first temporal filter that generates a first response correction signal determining the first output image signal based on the second output image signal; and a corrector that generates the first output image signal based on at least the first response correction signal and a second signal based on the input image signal. The first temporal filter generates the first response correction signal of a current frame based on the second output image signal of the current frame and the first response correction signal of a previous frame.
