Abstract: A piece of furniture has a door or panel swingably mounted by means of a hinge. An elongated biased stud is mounted on a wall of the furniture piece pivotable in such manner that its free end engages the hinge and urges the door to closed position only during the initial increment of the door''s movement to open position and the final increment of the door''s movement to closed position.
