    Abstract: A scanning device includes a base, an upper cover pivotally covered to the base, a motor mounted to the base, two roller assemblies, a sensor mounted in the first channel, and a card supporting mechanism. A first channel, a scanning channel and a second channel are formed between the upper cover and the base. The scanning channel has a scanning read line. The first channel, the scanning channel and the second channel are communicated with one another. The two roller assemblies are connected with and driven by the motor. The card supporting mechanism is mounted to the base. The card supporting mechanism includes a blocking board movably disposed behind the second channel along the longitudinal direction, and a front surface of the blocking board is parallel to the scanning read line and orthogonal to the second channel.

    Abstract: A paper pickup mechanism is used with a pickup tape and includes a frame, a release roller, a receive roller and a sponge. The release roller and the receive roller are rotatably mounted in the frame and apart parallel to each other. The sponge is mounted at a bottom of the frame and parallel to the release roller and the receive roller. The sponge is located at a level position below that of the release roller and the receive roller. The pickup tape is mounted to the release roller. The free end of the pickup tape rounds the bottom face of the sponge and is mounted to the receive roller. The stick face of the pickup tape against the sponge is exposed outward and opposite to the sponge.

    Abstract: A scanning device includes a scanning platform, a feed roller mounted above the scanning platform and rotatable to bring a sheet-like medium across the scanning platform, first and second elastic elements located under two ends of the scanning platform to press the scanning platform against the feed roller.     Abstract: An image correction method is applied to a scanner device. The scanner device includes a main case, a drive module, an optical module, an analog-to-digital converter, a first-in and first-out data buffer, a data flow control unit, a set unit, a data classification unit and a memory storage unit which are electrically connected and assembled in the main case. The scanner device executes a program statement set by the set unit in the memory storage unit to get values for building an update shading table. The scanner device utilizes the update shading table to compensate pixel values corresponding to red, green and blue light of each scanned line of an image for doing a luminance compensation of image pixels corresponding to the red, green and blue light of each scanned line of the image so as to complete an image correction of each scanned line of the image.
