A motion-detecting device for reducing assembly tolerance includes a connection unit, a light-emitting unit, an image-sensing unit and a positioning unit. The connection unit has a first fixing portion formed on one side thereof and a second fixing portion formed on another side thereof. The second fixing portion has a receiving space and a through hole communicating with the receiving space. The light-emitting unit is fixed in the first fixing portion of the connection unit for generating a projection beam. The image-sensing unit is received in the receiving space of the second fixing portion for capturing images. The positioning unit is positioned over the receiving space of the second fixing portion and electrically connected to the image-sensing unit. The transparent base is disposed under the connection unit and mated with the second fixing portion of the connection unit.

A camera and an image capturing method with anti-flicker capability. The camera has a camera sensor and an image signal processor. The camera sensor captures first and second image data separated by a time delay which depends on a flicker period of background illumination. The image signal processor differentiates the first and the second image data along rows to obtain first and second differentiated image data, respectively, normalizes the first and second image data to obtain for each column an oscillation amplitude, normalizes the first and second differentiated image data to obtain for each column an oscillation amplitude, and obtains flicker-eliminated image data based on the first and second image data, the first and second differentiated image data, and the oscillation amplitudes obtained from normalizing the first and second image data and the oscillation amplitudes obtained from normalizing the first and second differentiated image data.

A coordinate information correction method for an optical touch panel includes: a) determining a set of to-be-corrected included angle values according to output signals received from light detectors, each of the to-be-corrected included angle values representing an included angle between a base line and a connecting line that extends from a respective one of the light detectors to a location of an object in a light curtain region; b) calculating a set of correction values, each of which is a finite order function of a respective one of the to-be-corrected included angle values; c) calculating a set of corrected included angle values from the set of to-be-corrected included angle values and the set of correction values; and d) generating corrected coordinate information associated with the location of the object in the light curtain region from the corrected included angle values.
