摘要: A center console system for enhancing storage space in a vehicle includes a vehicle that has a front bench, a floor and a center console that is hingedly coupled to the front bench. The center console is selectively positioned in a deployed position having the center console being horizontally oriented and being centrally positioned on the front bench. The center console is selectively positioned in a stored position having the center console being vertically oriented. A storage unit is provided and the storage unit is selectively positioned on the floor when the center console is positioned in the stored position. In this way beverage containers and other objects may be stored when the center console is in the stored position.

摘要: A plate with integrated design for sauces includes a plate well, a lip, an outer base, a plurality of central bases, at least one design indentation, and a design indentation border. The lip is positioned around the plate well, and the outer base and the plurality of central bases are positioned with the plate well opposite from the lip. The at least one design indentation is positioned on the plate well and provides a separate area for the sauces. The design indentation border that provides a barrier between a food surface of the plate well and a top surface of the at least one design indentation is positioned around the at least one design indentation. The plate with integrated design for sauces allows food items to be served on the food surface while keeping the sauces within the at least one design indentation.

摘要: The present invention discloses a system and method for confining a robot to a particular space. The system includes a portable barrier signal transmitter that produces a barrier signal primarily along an axis, and a mobile robot capable of avoiding the barrier signal upon detection of the barrier signal. In the preferred embodiment the barrier signal is emitted in an infrared frequency and the robot includes an omni-directional signal detector. Upon detection of the signal, the robot turns in a direction signal is no longer detected.

摘要: A control system for a mobile robot (10) is provided to effectively cover a given area by operating in a plurality of modes, including an obstacle following mode (51) and a random bounce mode (49). In other embodiments, spot coverage, such as spiraling (45), or other modes are also used to increase effectiveness. In addition, a behavior based architecture is used to implement the control system, and various escape behaviors are used to ensure full coverage.

C., positioning the disk inside the glass tubulation proximate the position of the heating means on the outside of the glass tubulation, heating the glass tubulation proximate the disk to about 1300.degree. C., checking for sealing contact between the glass tubulation and the disk; and cooling the glass tubulation proximate the disk until the temperature of the heated area is below about 300.degree. C., thereby sealing the tubulation/envelope connection are disclosed.
