摘要: A digital still camera produces size-reduced image data of a JPEG file, which is converted into printable image data of a TIFF file according to a converting parameter. In the digital still camera, raw image data (CCD-RAW) is produced, corresponds to the JPEG data, and has an unreduced format. Images of the JPEG data are displayed in a playback manner. A customer order of an image among the displayed images to be printed is processed. JPEG data associated with the image of the customer order is adjusted according to a standard adjusting parameter. The standard adjusting parameter is modified into a first adjusting parameter. Raw image data associated with the image of the customer order is converted into TIFF data by image conversion according to the first adjusting parameter and/or a standard converting parameter being preset.

摘要: In a main display area of a second correction screen on a monitor, a floating window is displayed together with a target image to correct, at a position designated by placing a reference point on an appropriate point on the target image. The floating window is split into a plural number of partial display sections, wherein those portions of the target image which have similar colors to a color of the reference point are displayed as target components of color correction, in such conditions as corrected based on different color correction parameter values from one another between the partial display sections. When one of the partial display sections is selected, all of those portions of the target image which correspond to the target components are displayed in the same color-corrected conditions as those displayed in the selected partial display section.

摘要: Raw image data obtained by shooting is thinned at a thinning rate, which is determined in accordance with a shooting scene, to produce simple raw image data. The thinning rate is determined such that necessary information for proper checking is maintained and unnecessary information for checking is thinned. Image correction is performed for the simple raw image data with predetermined processing parameters, and this data is converted into a simple display image to be shown on a monitor. An operator observes the simple display image to change the processing parameters. Whenever the processing parameters are changed, the image correction is performed for the simple raw image data with the changed processing parameters to update the simple display image. For the raw image data, image correction is performed with the finally determined processing parameters.

摘要: An image processing method in which an image of an original is read by an image input device, the read image data is converted to density data used when printing onto a photosensitive material, and an image is obtained on the photosensitive by digital exposure, wherein, when the image data is converted to the density data used when printing onto the photosensitive material, the image data is corrected on the basis of parameters determined by combinations of print finish characteristics, including at least image input device characteristics, which affect a print image when the image of the original is printed on the photosensitive material by an analogue exposure system. On the basis of the above parameters, the density data is obtained while the image data is corrected. For this reason, an image finish print in the digital exposure system can obtain an image quality which is equal to that of a finish print in an analogue exposure system. Additionally, data for monitor display is generated so that the gradation and color tone of the image displayed on the monitor coincide with the gradation and color tone of the image printed on the photosensitive material.

摘要: In forming a coating film of a fluororesin, e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene, on a metallic or nonmetallic surface by a physical vapor deposition technique, problems attributed to the necessity of intensely heating or bombarding the fluororesin as the evaporating source or target material are solved by using a molecular weight reduced fluororesin not higher than 5000 in molecular weight. It is best to use a low molecular weight fluororesin powder obtained by heating a high molecular weight fluororesin in presence of a fluorine source and precipitating the molecular weight reduced polymer from the reaction gas.
