摘要： An information processing apparatus includes an acquiring unit that acquires diagnosis information regarding an operating condition of an image forming apparatus that forms an image, a communication connection unit that establishes a communication connection with the image forming apparatus and a management server via a communication line, a storage controller that stores the diagnosis information acquired by the acquiring unit in a predetermined memory, where the storage controller reduces a data amount of the diagnosis information stored when a communication connection is not established to less than that stored when a communication connection is established, and a transmitting unit that transmits the diagnosis information stored in the memory to the management server if a communication connection is established by the communication connection unit.

摘要： An image-forming device includes: an image-forming unit that forms an image on the basis of first image data; a measuring unit that measures a value of density of a patch image formed by the image-forming unit; a desired value storage unit that stores data on a desired value of density of the patch image; a correction amount calculating unit that calculates a correction amount on the basis of which the measured value is converted into a value identical to or close to the desired value; a condition storage unit that stores data on the measured value, the desired value, the correction amount, and the second image data in the storage unit; and a conversion unit that converts the second image data into third image data, on the basis of the measured value, the desired value, and the correction amount.

摘要： An image forming apparatus for continuously printing plural images has an empirical calibration part that performs color calibration processing based on a test image printed on recording paper, a predictive calibration part that performs color calibration processing based on a reference value that has been determined in advance, and a controller that allows the empirical calibration part and the predictive calibration part to perform color calibration processing. In the case where recording paper is switched and plural images are printed, the controller allows the empirical calibration part to perform color calibration processing when predetermined type of recording paper is used, and allows the predictive calibration part to perform color calibration processing when recording paper of other type is used.

摘要： In a toner concentration detecting device wherein developer is carried by a roll from a developer flowpath to a detection station for optical detection thereof, a restriction element is provided adjacent the roll between the developer flowpath and detection station to limit the thickness of the developer adhered to the roll. A scraper is provided downstream of the detection station for cleaning the roll, and the roll itself is covered with a non-magnetic material to provide a substantially smooth outer surface.
