摘要： The present invention provides a method and system for constructing a labeled treemap with balanced layout. A range of possible densities of leaf nodes based on designated weights of the leaf nodes and a designated treemap region is determined. A range of possible densities is then searched for a density that could be fitted on and a labeled treemap that could fit on the density. The labeled treemap is presented on a specified display region. By introducing the concept of density into labeled treemap, the present invention ensures the area of region occupied by each leaf node in the constructed labeled treemap is approximately corresponding to the weight of the node, and avoids the case of invisible leaf node in a treemap.

摘要： Method and system for switching a network application operating in a first communication mode to a second mode within a wireless local area network, comprising: judging whether mobile nodes are neighboring according to location information; when nodes are neighboring inquiring whether mobile nodes want to switch to second mode to run network applications; when all mobile nodes agree to switch to second mode, downloading and installing network application provided by the application server to one of the mobile nodes; configuring each of the mobile nodes with the communication parameters under the second mode; and switching all mobile nodes to the second communication mode to continue the previous network application. The invention dynamically switches between Infrastructure mode and Ad-hoc mode to balance system resources, improve QoS, reduce the communication traffic, waiting time and the cost of the users, and increase the income of the provider of the network service.

摘要： This invention relates to a computer system and methods, apparatus and systems for building concept knowledge from a machine-readable dictionary. The machine-readable dictionary includes a plurality of words in a first language and a plurality of corresponding translated words in a second language, and a plurality of words in the second language and a plurality of corresponding translated words in the first language. The method comprises steps of providing a seed word in the first language; forward-translating said seed words to obtain a plurality of translated words corresponding to said seed word by looking up said machine-readable dictionary; and backward-translating said translated words to obtain a plurality of translated words in the first language corresponding to each of said plurality of translated words obtained by said step of forward-translating respectively, as words of the concept knowledge, by looking up said machine-readable dictionary.

摘要： A method and apparatus for visualizing hierarchy data with angular chart are provided wherein the hierarchy data comprises a plurality of levels. The method comprises determining at least one of the plurality levels of the hierarchy data as base levels; visualizing data units in the base levels with the angular chart, wherein each slice of the angular chart corresponds to the data unit in the hierarchy data; and in response to user's operation on the slice of the angular chart, visualizing data units in at least next level of the data unit corresponding to the selected slice. The data units in each level of the hierarchy data can be visualized hierarchically and clearly, even if the hierarchy data has numerous levels and/or data units.
