摘要： A tool for detaching a trailing end portion of a filmstrip from at least one hook atop a ramp on a film spool inside a film cartridge. This detachment occurs when the tool is inserted inwardly through a film ingress/egress slot in the cartridge. The tool includes a flexible element having a leading first portion followed by a wider second portion each configured to be successively inserted inwardly through the slot of the cartridge beneath a film section in the slot such that when the wider second portion is forced to slide up the ramp on the spool the leading first portion will push the trailing end portion of the filmstrip off the hook atop the ramp.

摘要： A fuser for fusing toner images to a receiving sheet includes a pressure roller and a fusing belt. The fusing belt has leading and trailing ends. A towing device is positioned to receive both the leading and trailing ends of the belt to form an endless belt. The towing device is moved through a path which moves the fusing belt through an endless path, which path includes a fusing nip with the pressure roller. The belt is backed by a heated roller at the fusing nip which defines a portion of the endless path and cooperates with the pressure roller to provide pressure in the nip.

摘要： A toner image is fixed to a receiving sheet by positioning the image between the receiving sheet and a hard surface of a web or sheet. Pressure is applied between the surfaces to fix the toner image to the receiving sheet with the toner image above its glass transition temperature. While the surfaces are still in contact, a heat sink member is brought into contact with one of the sheets or web to remove heat from the toner image and reduce the temperature of the toner image below its glass transition temperature allowing the receiving sheet to be separated from the hard surface without offset.

摘要： A toner image, for example, a multicolor toner image, is transferred to a receiving sheet carried by a heated transfer drum. The multicolor image is fixed by pressure between a fusing web or sheet and the toner image exerted by a heated pressure roller and the transfer drum. The fusing web or sheet and the receiving sheet are transported away from the transfer drum and pressure roller to cool, after which they are separated.

摘要： A modular target system support structure for use with modular target systems simultaneously provides support and electrical contact to a plurality of target modules upon mounting and securing of the same in place on the support structure. In one embodiment, the modular target system support structure includes mechanical clamps for securing the plurality of target modules in place and electrical contacts, positioned on the mechanical clamps, for making electrical contact with the target modules automatically upon mounting and securing of the same in place. Furthermore, the modular target system support structure requires no tools for mounting or replacing target modules on or off the target field.
