Abstract: A display panel and a display apparatus are provided. The display panel includes pixel circuits, light-emitting device electrically connected to the pixel circuits, signal lines electrically connected to the pixel circuits and including signal transmitting lines each extending along a first direction, and a first connection portion located in a circuit region and each extending along a second direction. At least one pixel circuit group is disposed in the circuit region, each pixel circuit group includes at least two pixel circuits of the pixel circuits, and the at least two pixel circuits are arranged along the second direction intersecting the first direction. The at least two pixel circuits in one of the at least one pixel circuit group are electrically connected to one of the signal transmitting lines through the first connection portion.

Abstract: A display panel includes a substrate, sub-pixels, and a black matrix. Each sub-pixel includes a pixel drive circuit and a light-emitting element. The light-emitting element includes an anode connected to M trace lead-out ends. At least portion of the trace lead-out end is electrically connected to pixel drive circuit through connection trace, M≥1. The black matrix has openings where the anode is exposed. The portion of the trace lead-out end exposed in the opening is a connection end. The sub-pixels include first and second sub-pixels having different light-emitting colors. In the first sub-pixel, M connection ends include at least one first connection end. In the second sub-pixel, M connection ends include at least one second connection end. Extension directions of first connection ends are parallel to extension direction of one second connection end, respectively. The first and second connection ends having parallel extension directions have similar profiles.

In an embodiment, a driving method for an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panel includes: correcting, if a current display brightness value of the OLED display panel is below a brightness threshold, grayscale data of an Nth frame to obtain corrected grayscale data of the Nth frame; obtaining a compensation value of an (N+1)th frame according to grayscale data of the (N+1)th frame and the corrected grayscale data of the Nth frame; performing compensation according to the compensation value of the (N+1)th frame and the grayscale data of the (N+1)th frame to obtain compensated grayscale data of the (N+1)th frame; and outputting the compensated grayscale data of the (N+1)th frame to the OLED display panel.
