A first pixel among the plurality of pixels comprises a first subpixel which further comprises a first subpixel electrode, a first switching element configured to apply a data voltage to the first subpixel electrode, and a second switching element applying a boosting voltage to the first subpixel electrode. The first pixel further comprises a second subpixel comprising a second subpixel electrode and a third switching element applying the data voltage to the low pixel electrode. Accordingly, the display quality and the reliability of the display panel may be improved.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other; a switching element disposed on the first substrate; a pixel electrode connected to the switching element and supplied with a data voltage; an opposing electrode disposed on the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and including liquid crystal molecules. The pixel electrode includes a cutout and a liquid crystal direction controller that are alternately disposed. The cutout and the liquid crystal direction controller divide the pixel electrode into a plurality of sub-regions, and inclination directions of the liquid crystal molecules are different according to the plurality of sub-regions when the pixel electrode is supplied with the data voltage. The liquid crystal direction controller is concave downward or convex upward with respect to a surface of the first substrate.

A first sensor drain electrode is extended from the second sensor line at the sensor active pattern. A second sensor drain electrode corresponding to the first sensor gate electrode is formed on the sensor active pattern. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to the gate line and the data line. A sensor electrode part electrically connects the first and second sensor drain electrodes spaced apart from the pixel electrode. Light is reflected by the first and second sensor drain electrodes, which have an embossed shape.

In the FFS mode LCD, a lower substrate, an upper substrate and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the substrates are included, each pixel region is defined by gate lines and data lines formed to cross each other on the lower substrate, and switching devices are disposed at intersections of the gate lines and the data lines. The FFS mode LCD includes a transparent pixel electrode, and a transparent common electrode disposed apart from the transparent pixel electrode by an insulating layer interposed between the transparent pixel electrode and the transparent common electrode, in the pixel region to adjust transmittance by applying an electric field to the liquid crystal layer, the transparent common electrode has a plurality of bars having a predetermined width in a direction substantially parallel to the data lines, the transparent common electrode has a first bar formed to cover the data lines and a second bar formed adjacent to the first bar in a central area of the pixel region, a distance between the first bar and the second bar is larger than a distance between bars formed in the pixel region, and one end of the transparent pixel electrode is disposed between the first bar and the adjacent secondbar.

    摘要: Liquid crystal display having fast response time and preventing color shift is disclosed. The liquid crystal display comprises: a lower substrate having a plurality of gate bus lines disposed parallel to each other, a plurality of data bus lines disposed perpendicular to the gate bus lines and defining matrix type sub pixels together with the gate bus lines, a thin film transistor provided adjacent to an intersection of the gate bus line and the data bus line, and a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor and disposed within the sub pixel; an upper substrate opposed to the lower substrate with a selected distance and having a counter electrode, the counter electrode formed at a portion corresponding to the sub pixel and forming an electric field together with the pixel electrode; a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between and having a plurality of liquid crystal molecules; a first homeotropic alignment layer and a second homeotropic alignment layer formed at inner face of the lower substrate and at inner face of the upper substrate respectively; and a first polarizing plate and a second polarizing plate attached at outer face of the lower substrate and at outer face of the upper substrate respectively, wherein the electric field formed between the counter electrode and the pixel electrode is formed as an oblique line with respect to the lower substrate surface, and is formed as a diagonal line having a symmetry with respect to the data bus line and the gate bus line.
