Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, a plurality of receptacle terminals, and a metallic shell. A hollow portion is between a first main body and a second main body of the base portion of the insulated housing, and body portions of the receptacle terminals penetrate the first main body and the second main body and are exposed out of the hollow portion. The metallic shell covers the insulated housing and covers the hollow portion to form an enclosed space in the hollow portion. The metallic shell has a potting hole corresponding to the enclosed space. When a sealing body is poured into the potting hole, the sealing body is provided between the insulated housing and the receptacle terminals and is also provided between the metallic shell and the insulated housing. Hence, waterproof function of the connector can be achieved.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing in the metallic shell, a plurality of terminals at the insulated housing, and a metallic plate at the insulated housing. The terminals include two first terminal groups and two second terminal groups arranged in two rows, and the two rows are respectively arranged on the two faces of a tongue portion of the insulated housing. A length of each contact portion of each second terminal group is greater than a length of each contact portion of each first terminal group. The metallic plate is between the first terminal groups and the second terminal groups. The metallic plate has one or more extension portion between the contact portions of at least two adjacent terminals of one or more of the second terminal groups. The structural strength of the tongue portion can be improved by the extension portion.

Abstract: An electrical connector configured to be assembled to a circuit board is provided. The electrical connector includes an insulating body having a base and a tongue, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating body, a first metal shell covering the insulating body, and a second metal shell covering the insulating body and the first metal shell. The first metal shell has a plurality of soldering feet soldered to the circuit board, and the second metal shell has a plurality of second metal pin soldered to the circuit board. The first and the second metal pin are beside the base and away from the tongue. At least one of the first metal shell and the insulating body has a supporting portion abutting against a non-conducting portion of the circuit board. The supporting portion is close to the tongue and away from the base.
