    摘要: Graft copolymers obtainable by free radical-initiated copolymerization of(A) a monomer mixture comprising(a) a monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.4 - to C.sub.8 -dicarboxylic acid, or an anhydride, alkali metal salt or ammonium salt thereof,(b) a monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 - to C.sub.10 -carboxylic acid, or an alkali metal salt or ammonium salt thereof,(c) if desired another monoethylenically unsaturated monomer which can be copolymerized with monomer (a) and (b), and(d) a monomer containing two or more ethylenically unsaturated, non-conjugated double bonds in the molecule, in the presence of(B) a monosaccharide, oligosaccharide, polysaccharide, oxidatively, hydrolytically or enzymatically degraded polysaccharide, oxidized, hydrolytically or enzymatically degraded polysaccharide, or chemically modified monosaccharide, oligosaccharide or polysaccharide,in the weight ratio (A):(B) of (95 to 20):(5 to 80), a process for the preparation of the graft copolymers, and detergents and cleaners containing the graft copolymers in amounts of from 0.1 to 20% by weight, are described.

    摘要: Polyesters obtainable by condensation of(a) an at least dicarboxylic acid, or an ester or anhydride or a mixture thereof,(b) an at least dihydric alcohol or an addition product of from 1 to 5 mol of at least one alkylene oxide of 2 or 3 carbon atoms with 1 mol of an at least dihydric alcohol, or a mixture thereof, and(c) a water-soluble addition product of from 5 to 80 mol of at least one alkylene oxide with 1 mol of a C.sub.8 -C.sub.24 -alcohol, a C.sub.8 -C.sub.18 -alkylphenol or a C.sub.8 -C.sub.24 -alkylaminein a molar ratio of (a):(b):(c) of 100:(25-2500):(5-110) at not less than 120.degree. C. up to a weight average molecular weight of from 2000 to 50000, are used in amounts of from 0.05 to 15% by weight as grayness inhibitors and soil release promoters in detergents.

    摘要: A process for preparing aqueous polyurethane dispersions has been discovered which comprises(a) forming a polyurethane solution by reacting an organic polyisocyanate in the presence of a solvent with(i) an acrylic ester diol having a molecular weight of between 146 and 3,000;(ii) an organic polyhydroxyl compound other than (i) having a molecular weight between 400 and 5,000 selected from the group consisting of polyester polyols, polyether polyols, polycarbonates, polylactones, and mixtures thereof; and(iii) a chain extender having a molecular weight between 62 and 400 selected from the group consisting of diols, triols, diamines, aminoalcohols, and mixtures thereof;(b) forming an anionic polyurethane addition product by reacting said polyurethane solution with a mercaptocarboxylic acid salt in the presence of a solvent;(c) adding water; and(d) removing the solvent.The dispersions can be used in a variety of applications. For instance, they can be used to prepare films, coating, and binders.

    摘要: A detergent contains as a grayness inhibitor in the wash and aftertreatment of textile material containing synthetic fibers a graft polymer obtainable by grafting(a) a polyalkylene oxide which has a number average molecular weight of from 300 to 100,000 and is based on ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and/or butylene oxide with(b) N-vinlypyrrolidone and(c) a vinyl ester derived from a saturated monocarboxylic acid containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and/or a methyl or ethyl ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid in a weight ratio (a):(b):(c) of from 1:0.3:1 to 1:5:30, the order of the addition of (b) and (c) in the graft copolymerization being immaterial and it being possible for up to 1 mole % of the grafted-on monomers (c) to be hydrolyzed.
