Abstract: A latching arrangement by which a tray arrangement is releasably held in one or more positions relative to a chassis is at least partially actuated by a cable guide extending forwardly from the tray arrangement. In some example latching arrangements, the cable guide is pivoted relative to the tray arrangement to release a stop member from the chassis. In other example latching arrangements, the cable guide is slid relative to the tray arrangement to release the stop member. Certain types of latching arrangements have a second stop member that is separately actuated by a different part (e.g., an actuation leg) of the latching arrangement.

Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Blades can be moved between discrete positions. In examples, blades can be one-handedly released from the chassis to allow movement between discrete positions. In examples, accidental movement past a discrete position is inhibited. Accidental removal of the blades from the chassis is inhibited. The chassis and blades cooperate to manage the optical fiber cables routed through a cable port in the chassis to the blades.

Abstract: A termination enclosure includes a chassis configured to hold optical terminations and optical splices. The optical splices are mounted to a removable splice drawer. In certain examples, the splice drawer is removed through a rear of the chassis while the optical terminations remain at the chassis. Optical splices can be made at a workstation remote from the chassis and stored in the splice drawer, which is inserted back into the chassis.

A cable storage spool is rotatably mounted to the body for storage and deployment of cable. A device is used for re-orienting the rotation axis of the spool from being generally perpendicular to the mounting surface to being generally non-perpendicular to the mounting surface, wherein the spool is configured such that the spool can be stored within the body when the spool is oriented to have the rotation axis generally perpendicular to the mounting surface.
