Abstract:
A height-adjustable support includes a stand unit, a friction-providing assembly including a stationary member disposed stationarily on the stand unit and a movable member movable relative to and in frictional contact with the stationary member, a link assembly coupled to the movable member such that pivoting movement of the link assembly results in movement of the movable member relative to the stationary member, a mounting seat disposed on a distal end portion of the link assembly and adapted to support a load, and a biasing assembly coupled to the movable member and to the stand unit. A biasing force exerted by the biasing assembly on the movable member and a frictional force generated between the stationary member and the movable member cooperate to balance the weight of the load and position the link assembly to sustain the load at an arbitrary height.
Abstract:
A height-adjustable apparatus for supporting a flat monitor is disclosed. The height-adjustable apparatus includes a first support unit, an elastic element, and a second support unit. The first support unit has a first engaging device. One end of the elastic element is affixed on the first support unit. The second support unit, which is movably sleeved into the first support unit, has a second engaging device, a first end, and a second end. The first end touches the elastic element, and the second end connects the flat monitor. When the first engaging device and the second engaging device engage with each other, the height-adjustable apparatus has a first length. When the elastic element is extended with an external force, the second support unit slides to a position such that the apparatus has a second length. The first length is longer than the second length.
Abstract:
A foldable base is applied to a display to be folded up for easy storage. The foldable base includes a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is pivotably connected to the second portion via a shaft. The main body of the shaft, positioned at a turning space within the foldable base, at least includes a positioning plane and a curved surface. When the first portion is pivoted around the second portion, the main body of the shaft is simultaneously rotated in the turning space. Since the main body of the shaft is physically interfered by the turning space, the first portion of the foldable base can be spontaneously sent back to a first position (such as a start-to-rotate position) or folded up to a second position (such as a storage position) after the first portion is rotated to a certain angle.
Abstract:
An adjustable apparatus for adjusting the positions of a display is provided. The display includes a base, a supporting arm and a display unit. Two ends of the supporting arm are pivotably connected to the base and the unit. The adjustable apparatus at least comprises a leading rod disposed within the base and an operation block mounted on the leading rod. One end of the leading rod is connected to the supporting arm. There are an outer thread formed on the surface of the leading rod and an inner thread correspondingly formed within the operation block. When the operation block is operated, the inner thread of the operation block is engaged with the outer thread of the leading rod, and the leading rod can be moved forwards or backwards so as to drive the supporting arm to rotate and adjust the positions of the display unit.
Abstract:
An electronic device and a cable thereof. The electronic device includes a circuit board, a port, a support, and a cable. The port is disposed on the circuit board. The support abuts the port. The cable is combined with the port in a manner such that the cable abuts the support.
Abstract:
A flat panel display and panel module thereof. The flat panel display includes a housing, a panel module and a main bracket. The panel module, contained in the housing, includes a front frame, a rear frame, and a panel. The front frame and the rear frame are assembled to encase the panel. The rear frame has at least one connecting portion, covered by the encased panel. The main bracket is disposed in the housing to connect the housing and the connecting portion of the rear frame.
