    摘要： An article (20) comprises a deformation-control member which can include an extending medial section (38), and a selected stiffened region (34). The stiffened region (34) can include a first array (40) of individual, stiffening elements (35), and at least a second array (50) of individual, stiffening elements (37). In particular features, each of the first and second arrays (40, 50) of stiffening elements can have a convergently arranged nose-end (70, 78), and a relatively divergently arranged tail-end (74, 80). In another feature, the first and second arrays (40, 50) of stiffening elements (35, 37) can be configured to substantially avoid intersecting in the medial section (38) of the deformation-control member. In a further feature, the second array (50) of stiffening elements (37) can have a counter-positioned configuration relative to the first array (40) of stiffening elements (35).

    摘要： An article (20) has a longitudinal length (22), an article width (24) and an article thickness (26). The article (20) comprises a fresh personal care product (28) in a substantially unsoiled condition, and a pouch (30) having a pouch volume which operatively encloses the fresh product (28). The pouch (30) includes a front panel region (32), a back panel region (34) which is operatively connected to the front panel region (32), and at least one expansion section (48) which is operatively connected between the front panel region (32) and the back panel region (34). The expansion section (48) is operatively held in a substantially unexpanded, closed position when the fresh product (28) is enclosed in the pouch (30). The expansion section 48 is movable to an open position after a removal of the fresh product (28) from the pouch (30). The open position of the expansion section (48) is configured to provide an expanded disposal volume which can operatively contain a product (28) when the product (28) is in a used and soiled condition.

The second major surface of the backsheet forms a garment facing surface of the absorbent article. On the second portion of the top sheet on the first major surface, a body adhesive is applied. In the first portion of the absorbent article, a garment attachment device for attaching the absorbent article to an undergarment of a user is present.

The two plies are arranged such that the fluid impervious layers face each other and are positioned at the inside of the two-ply product. The two plies are bonded on two or three sides to form a sleeve or a pocket, such that a hand can be inserted between the two plies and positioned in contact with one or both fluid impervious layers. In this manner, the product is absorbent on both sides, and can be utilized on both sides while preventing hand contact with the material absorbed or picked up by the product.
