    Abstract: A charging apparatus for a mobile terminal includes: a control chip connected with the USB interface; a current detection circuit connected with the power supply circuit; a voltage detection circuit connected with the power supply circuit; an analog to digital converter (ADC) connected with the current detection circuit, the voltage detection circuit, and the control chip respectively, the current detection circuit and the voltage detection circuit are configured to provide the control chip with the current value of the current output current and the voltage value of the current output voltage respectively through the ADC; a power adjusting circuit connected with the control chip and the power supply circuit respectively, configured to adjust an output power of the power supply circuit based on the control of the control chip.

The device includes: a battery supply circuit, including first and second cells configured to switch between being coupled in parallel with each other and being coupled in series with each other; a charging interface, through which the device receives output voltage and current of an adapter; a first charging circuit coupled between the charging interface and the battery supply circuit, and configured to convert the output voltage and apply the converted output voltage on both ends of the first and second cells coupled in parallel; and a second charging circuit coupled between the charging interface and the battery supply circuit, and configured to directly apply the output voltage and current on both ends of the first and second cells coupled in series, or directly apply the output voltage and current on both ends of the first and second cells coupled in parallel.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device to be charged and a charging method. The device to be charged includes: a charging interface; a first charging circuit, coupled with the charging interface, configured to receive an output voltage and an output current of an adapter via the charging interface and to directly apply the output voltage and the output current of the adapter to both ends of a plurality of battery cells coupled in series in the device to be charged, so as to perform a direct charging on the plurality of battery cells. With the present disclosure, heat generated in the charging process can be reduced while ensuring the charging speed.
