    摘要: In serial transmission of a mixture of isochronous data and anisochronous data, communications through a transmission path with a high ratio of occurrence of transmission errors may disturb images during streaming reproduction and produce noise in sound. To solve this problem, the isochronous data that has not been successfully received is retransmitted by using an anisochronous region. Thus, a transmission error of the isochronous data can be reduced without impairment of isochronous characteristics of the data.

    摘要: A device consists of: a first unit which divides voice and image data into blocks each consisting of a predetermined number of data, and executes a method of selecting one of plural error correction encoding systems and conducting encoding on an arbitrary number of data in one block; a second unit which executes a method of measuring an error state of a communication channel; and a third unit which executes a method of determining data which are to be subjected to encoding conducted in the first unit, and an error correction encoding system. When the state of the communication channel is inferior, only data of high importance can be protected. When the state is superior, a wide range of data including those of low importance can be protected.

    摘要: The current invention discloses photocopying methods and systems for substantially eliminating shadows caused by uneven surfaces of an original by the use of a light diffusing element or a carrier sheet which automatically triggers the associated photocopying parameters. The light diffusing element has a marker or an identification code which is detected by a sensor placed along a paper path, and the marker contains various type of information used for adjusting the photocopying conditions associated with the use of the light diffusing element. The light diffusing element is also designed to be used with an automatic document feeder.

    摘要: Process for producing a copper plated resin article by forming a uniform copper coating having excellent adhesive strength on a fiber-reinforced or unreinforced thermoplastic or thermosetting resin article having a heat deformation temperature higher than 165.degree. C. The resin article is heated along with a source of copper formate under a reduced pressure or in a non-oxidative atmosphere to a temperature in the range above 165.degree. C. but lower than the heat deformation temperature of the resin article. The process makes it possible to produce a resin article having formed thereon a copper layer having an excellent adhesive strength by a very simple manner, and the resin article thus obtained can be used in various industrial fields.

    摘要: In a design-system distributing method, when a server side design system is updated, a server compares an updated server side design system and a client update state data, and the server distributes an update assisting system, an update indication data and a difference data to a client system based on the comparing result. The client system stores the update assisting system, the update indication data and the difference data, and the client system starts the stored update assisting system such that an update notice is outputted to a user of the client system to urge update of the client side design system each time a preset condition is satisfied until an update command of the client side design system is supplied to the client system. The client system updates the client side design system based on the stored update indication data and the stored difference data in response to the update command. The client system generates and transmits the client update state data to the server to indicate an update state of the client side design system for this time, and the server updates the client update state data based on the client update state data received from the client system.
