Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of controlling wireless scanning. For example, an apparatus may include a radio to communicate with a wireless network; and a scan controller to control a wireless scan by the radio according to a scan pattern, the scan controller to determine a mobility state of the mobile device, the mobility state representing a combination of a velocity of the mobile device and an environment of the mobile device, and to determine the scan pattern based on the mobility state.
