Abstract: A heater assembly for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system has a heater and a controller enclosure. The heater has a plurality of heating elements in a frame that has two opposing ends. The controller enclosure has two end walls and a plurality of side walls in a non-rectangular polygonal configuration. One of the two opposing ends of the frame is coupled to one of the two end walls such that an orientation of the heating elements may be changed based on respective locations of the plurality of side walls of the controller enclosure.

Abstract: A wall panel assembly for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes a panel having a main body, where the panel is configured to be fastened to a frame of the HVAC unit, and a plurality of stiffeners attached to the panel along a perimeter of the main body. A stiffener of the plurality of stiffeners includes a flat portion and a raised portion offset from the flat portion, where the raised portion is configured to sealingly engage with a component disposed within the HVAC unit.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an energy recovery wheel for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The energy recovery wheel includes a frame positioned within a passage of the HVAC system. The frame is configured to rotate about an axis of the passage relative to the HVAC system and includes an opening that is configured to transmit an air flow. The energy recovery wheel also includes a heat transfer element coupled to the frame and positioned within the opening, where the heat transfer element is permeable and configured to transition between a closed orientation to occlude the opening and direct the air flow across the heat transfer element and an open orientation to substantially unblock the opening and mitigate interaction between the air flow and the heat transfer element.
