Abstract: A transparent display device is disclosed, which may improve light transmittance in a transmissive area and increase or maximize a light emission area in a non-transmissive area. The transparent display device includes a substrate provided with a display area including a transmissive area and a non-transmissive area, in which a plurality of subpixels are disposed, and a non-display area surrounding the display area, at least one insulating film provided over the substrate, anode electrodes provided in each of the plurality of subpixels over the at least one insulating film, a bank provided among the anode electrodes, a light emitting layer provided over the anode electrodes, and a cathode electrode provided over the light emitting layer. The at least one insulating film and the bank are provided in only the non-transmissive area.

The second capacitor electrode is not overlapped with the active layer of the driving transistor.

Abstract: A display device can include a thin-film transistor (TFT) and an auxiliary electrode disposed on a substrate and spaced apart from each other, a passivation layer disposed on the TFT and the auxiliary electrode, a first barrier rib and a second barrier rib disposed on the passivation layer and spaced apart from each other, a first electrode disposed on the first barrier rib and connected to the TFT, a connecting electrode disposed on the second barrier rib and connected to the auxiliary electrode, a bank layer disposed on the passivation layer and including a first opening exposing a portion of the first electrode and a second opening exposing a portion of the connecting electrode, an organic emitting layer disposed on the first electrode and separated by the second barrier rib, and a second electrode disposed on the organic emitting layer and contacting the connecting electrode near the second barrier rib.
