Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a first compression chamber, a second compression chamber separated from the first compression chamber, and having a greater compression ratio than the first compression chamber, a first discharge port that communicates with the first compression chamber and provided with a first discharge inlet and a first discharge outlet, and a second discharge port separated from the first discharge port, that communicates with the second compression chamber, and provided with a second discharge inlet and a second discharge outlet, the discharge outlet of at least one of the first discharge port or the second discharge port may have a larger sectional area than the discharge inlet. Accordingly, a discharge delay in each compression chamber may be prevented in advance, thereby suppressing compression loss.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing configured to contain oil at a lower portion thereof; a drive motor provided at an inner space of the casing; a rotational shaft coupled to a rotor of the drive motor, and having an oil supply passage in order to guide the oil contained in the casing to an upper side; a frame provided below the drive motor; a fixed scroll provided below the frame, arid having a fixed wrap; and an orbiting scroll provided between the frame and the fixed scroll, having an orbiting wrap to form a compression chamber by being engaged with the fixed wrap, and having a rotational shaft coupling portion to couple the rotational shaft thereto in a penetrating manner. One or more oil dimples may be formed at a peripheral end surface positioned between an inner circumferential portion and an outer circumferential portion of the rotational shaft coupling portion. With such a configuration, as oil may be smoothly supplied to an end surface of the orbiting wrap near the rotational shaft coupling portion, abrasion may be prevented.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include an orbiting scroll having an orbiting wrap, and which performs an orbiting motion; and a fixed scroll having a fixed wrap to form a compression chamber including a suction chamber, an intermediate pressure chamber, and a discharge chamber, by being engaged with the orbiting wrap. In a state in which the orbiting scroll and the fixed scroll are concentric with each other, when a distance between the orbiting wrap and the fixed wrap is defined as an orbiting radius, there exists an offset section having an interval larger than the orbiting radius, between a side surface of the orbiting wrap and a side surface of the fixed wrap which faces the orbiting wrap. With such a configuration, even if the fixed scroll or the orbiting scroll is transformed due to thermal expansion, interference between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap at a portion having a large transformation amount may be prevented. This may prevent a frictional loss or abrasion between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap. Further, this may restrict or minimize a gap between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap at an opposite side to the suction chamber, resulting in enhanced compression efficiency.
