摘要： A system and method for providing text summarization for use in Web-based content is presented. Text is determined responsive to an executed query. Phrases within the text are identified, and words within the phrases are marked using matches of the words within the phrases with words of the executed query and/or a format rule. Marked words are placed into the summarized text subject to space restrictions. A system and method for building Web-based advertising creatives is also presented. At least one item description responsive to an executed query is identified and a name is extracted. Marked words are placed into the advertising creative subject to space restrictions.

摘要： Providing capitalization correction for unstructured excerpts is described. An excerpt of unstructured content is tokenized into a set of words. The set of words is analyzed for correct capitalization. Individual characters constituting at least one such word in the set of words are evaluated. The at least one such word is skipped if determined to be of a predefined type.

摘要： A method of presenting computer-generated search result information can include receiving a search request from a client computer; identifying a plurality of search results responsive to the search request; ranking the plurality of search results using content in one or more web notebooks; and providing the ranked plurality of search results for presentation in the client computer. Using the content can include determining whether at least one of a title, a heading, clipped content, metadata or a user-annotation in at least one web notebook relates to the search request and, if so, increasing a ranking of at least one search result referenced by the at least one web notebook.
