摘要： The present invention provides a cooking grate for use within a barbecue grill assembly comprising a cooking chamber and a gas burner positioned in a lower portion of the cooking chamber. The grate has a plurality of elongated members defining a cooking surface and multiple openings. The grate further has a grease control assembly that is cooperatively positioned over a burner flame region to direct and control the flow of grease generated by cooking food on the grate. The grease control assembly has at least one rib group and at least one ledge. The rib group comprises a plurality of ribs, each rib having a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The grease control assembly also has an outer ridge and an inner ridge depending from a lower surface of the grate. With these structures, the grate prevents grease and byproducts from draining onto the burner flame region.

摘要： The present invention provides a barbecue grill assembly with a grill body having a firebox and a cover and a burner element. The firebox is supported on a frame structure having a first frame member assembly and a second frame member assembly. The frame assemblies are secured together by combination of at least one cross member secured to the upper portion and being secured to the firebox at a lower region, without the need for additional cross members at the lower region. The invention further provides a frame with pivoting shelves secured to the frame, adapted to move from a use position to a storage position within the grill cooking chamber. The present invention further provides a frame assembly having a lateral slot for receiving and supporting a heat shield positioned below the firebox.

摘要： The present invention provides a cooking grate for use within a barbecue grill assembly. The cooking grate is located within a cooking chamber of the barbecue grill and adjacent the heat source. The cooking grate has an energy receptor portion and cooking members depending therefrom. The energy reception portion of the cooking grate receives energy from the heat source. The energy received by the energy reception portion of the cooking grate is then conducted through the cooking grate to cooking members to cook food thereon. The present invention also provides a grease control structure for the grate to assist in directing the flow of grease away from the burners.

摘要： The present invention provides a barbecue grill assembly comprising a cooking chamber with a cover and a firebox. The cover is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The cover has an inner surface and an internal lip extending from a lower edge region of the inner surface. The firebox has a rim at an upper portion of the firebox wherein the rim defines a periphery of the firebox. When the cover is in the closed position, the internal lip is positioned inward of the firebox periphery. This means that the internal lip is positioned within the perimeter of the firebox, as defined by the rim. The grill assembly further comprises a burner element positioned in the firebox, a cooking grate positioned in the firebox above the burner element, and a frame assembly adapted to support the cooking chamber.

摘要： Various embodiments of a collapsible charcoal starter are shown, described and claimed herein. In one embodiment, the charcoal starter includes six panels being hingedly interconnected to form a closed loop. The charcoal starter is configured to have an expanded position and a collapsed position, and can be moved therebetween without any disassembly of the charcoal starter. In the expanded position, the six panels form four walls or boundaries, whereby the walls define a volume for receiving charcoal briquettes. In the collapsed position, the six panels are oriented generally parallel. Moreover, four of the panels are sandwiched in between the two remaining panels. In this manner, the depth of the charcoal starter can be significantly reduced as compared to the expanded position, while the width is substantially the same in both the collapsed and expanded positions.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a tip-resisting caster which is adapted to provide tip resistance for a barbecue grill when tip tested for compliance with Canadian Standards Agency standard no. 1.6, Section 2.18.4 The preferred caster of the present invention comprises a chassis, a connector such as a flange or a post, at least one wheel, and a kickstand or the like. The connector depends upwardly from the chassis, thereby defining a longitudinal axis for the caster, and is operable for attachment to an object desired to be rolled. There are preferably two wheels which are connected to the chassis about a rotational axis, whereby the rotational axis is generally transverse to the longitudinal axis and is offset from the longitudinal axis towards a rear side of the caster. Due to the offset between the rotational axis and the longitudinal axis, the wheels are biased towards a rear side of the caster. The kickstand is rigidly attached to the caster and projects from the caster towards a front side of the caster, whereby a line drawn tangent with both the wheel and the kickstand is offset from the longitudinal axis by at least 75°. In this manner, the kickstand is adapted to contact a horizontal surface when the barbecue grill is inclined to 15°.
