摘要： A broadband wireless network includes intelligent base stations and mobile units. The network includes control means to manage connectivity of the mobile units to the intelligent base stations. Software is provided to control connection of the mobile unit to an intelligent base station having preferred signal characteristics. When a mobile unit connects to an intelligent base station, the software broadcasts corrected routing information to all intelligent base stations on the network allowing persistent wireless connectivity.

摘要： A method, apparatus, software components to identify images (WebPages Thumbnails, web documents, etc.) relevant to search engine query results, for displaying on computerized devices. The disclosed invention combines systems for database file searching, indexing, analysis, re-indexing, retrieval, and distribution and reviewing. Although, the primary purpose of this invention is to be integrated with Internet Search Engines to assist users (searchers) in sorting through return from their search query, which often are unrelated and redundant information, the invention can be used with other database systems as well. Unlike traditional search engine systems, the invention described herein incorporates a search engine Query Results capture and Analysis component with an Imaging System, which matches query results to related images of WebPages. Then utilizing a Query component coupled with Image retrieval and delivery components, both the searches engine query results and related WebPages Images added to the query results page viewing.

摘要： A board-type game to be played by two or more players. The game includes lasers where players selectively divert the path of the laser beams. The board apparatus comprises a surface, bounded by a frame, over which laser beams are directed down symbolic rows and columns which constitute a matrix of squares. Each square is a subregion of the surface piece, and is bounded along its four sides by raised edges which are parallel and perpendicular rows and columns of the board. The raised edges, creating recessed squares, assist in orienting the playing pieces. Playing pieces may contain no mirror, one mirror, or two mirrors (oriented back-to-back to produce separate surfaces reflecting in opposite directions). Playing pieces are placed in a predetermined “starting” configuration on the squares of the gridded surface piece. Depending on whether a playing piece contains a mirror or not, said piece may reflect an incident laser beam from a row to a column or from a column to a row. A laser is placed in a predetermined position, in front of each player. The players alternate in moving pieces from square to square or rotating pieces in place, on the gridded surface, with the object of either directing their laser beam toward the opponent's “key” piece or preventing their opponent's laser beam from reaching their own “key” piece.

摘要： A cover assembly for concealing an air bag restraint system in a vehicle passenger compartment has an underlying support and air bag door substrate. The door substrate is held in the closed position by flexible tabs that are disposed in a slot at the confronting edge of the support. When the air bag inflates, it engages the door substrate and pushes the tabs out of the slot to release the door substrate. The door substrate then swings open rupturing the covering to provide an opening through the cover assembly for deployment of the air bag.

摘要： A cable pre-load system and device attachable between a moveable control cable and a rigid frame for regulating tension in the control cable and sealing the control cable against contamination. The tensioning device includes a cable connector, a resilient tubular member with two ends and a frame connector. The cable connector attaches one end of the tubular member to the control cable to form a static seal about the control cable. The frame connector attaches the other end of the tubular member to the frame. The tubular member stretches between a first configuration and a second configuration in response to movement of the control cable to regulate tension in the control cable.
