Abstract:
An apparatus includes a first pulse wave sensor and a second pulse wave sensor that can be arranged in correspondence with respective measurement sites distant from each other. The first pulse wave sensor outputs a current signal having a first frequency to a measurement site and detects a voltage signal that represents pulse waves from the measurement site, based on a filter characteristic corresponding to the first frequency. The second pulse wave sensor outputs a current signal having a frequency different from the first frequency to a corresponding measurement site and detects a voltage signal representing pulse waves from the measurement site, based on a filter characteristic corresponding to a second frequency.
Abstract:
A pulse wave measurement electrode unit (200) includes electrodes (41 to 46) including a pair of current applying electrodes and a first pair of voltage measuring electrodes; a support member (210) that supports the electrodes on a first main surface (211) that faces a body surface of a measurement subject in a case that the pulse wave measurement electrode unit is attached on the measurement subject; and a fluid bag (24) configured to expand and contract and configured to expand upon measurement to press the electrodes (41 to 46) against the body surface of the measurement subject. The support member (210) includes a length direction (L) corresponding to a circumferential direction of the device in an attached state to the measurement subject and a width direction (W) orthogonal to the length direction (L) and a thickness direction. The electrodes (41 to 46) are arranged side by side in the width direction (W). Low rigidity portions are provided between adjacent electrodes, the low rigidity portions having a lower rigidity than a rigidity of portions that overlap the electrodes in the thickness direction.
Abstract:
A blood pressure measurement cuff is worn on a measurement site that extends in longitudinal direction in substantial round bar shape and gradually becomes thinner from one side to another side in longitudinal direction. A band-shaped body is included which is configured to contain an air bladder between an inner cloth that is to come into contact with the measurement site and an outer cloth that opposes the inner cloth, the band-shaped body being configured to be wrapped in a circumferential direction around the measurement site. A plate member is included which is provided between the outer cloth and the air bladder in a thickness direction and in a region that corresponds to at least a portion in the circumferential direction of the band-shaped body. The thickness of the plate member gradually becomes thinner from the one side to the other side in the longitudinal direction.
