Abstract: Motorcycles tyre, comprising: a radial carcass structure (2); a belt structure (6) applied in radially outer position with respect to the radial carcass structure (2); a tread band (8) applied in radially outer position with respect to the belt structure (6). The tyre (1) has a curvature ratio (f/C) greater than or equal to about 0.25. The tread band (8) comprises: a plurality of blocks (14) mutually spaced so as to define a tread pattern with a void/solid ratio (1−Sb/St) comprised between about 25% and about 50%; transverse grooves (11) placed in succession along the circumferential extension of the tyre (1) and each substantially extending over the entire axial width of the tread band (8). Each transverse groove (11) substantially extends along an axial direction. Two successive transverse grooves (11) circumferentially delimit an assembly (12) of blocks (14) placed in succession over the entire axial width of the tread band (8). Circumferential grooves (13) delimit the blocks (14) of an assembly (12). A ratio between a circumferential length (LI) of the blocks (14) and a width (L2) of the transverse grooves (11) is equal to or greater than about 2.

Abstract: A motorcycle tyre has a tread band including a central portion and two shoulder portions arranged at axially opposite sides of the central portion. The central portion includes a first plurality of grooves extended according to a substantially longitudinal direction and alternatively arranged at opposite sides of the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each groove of the first plurality of grooves has a substantially curvilinear course such as to form a concavity. The central portion further includes a sub-portion substantially free of grooves placed astride the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each of the shoulder portions includes a second plurality of grooves arranged obliquely relative to the equatorial plane of the tyre.

Abstract: Tire for motorcycles, having a tread band includes a central annular portion symmetrically located astride an equatorial plane and two shoulder annular portions located on axially opposite sides with respect to the central annular portion. The tread band has a void-to-rubber ratio not greater than 25%. The central annular portion has an axial extension not greater than 65% of the axial development of the tread band and the central portion has at least one module circumferentially repeated. Each shoulder portion has an axial extension not greater than 40% of the axial development of the tread band and the module includes at least one pair of first grooves with substantially circumferential course, at least partially located on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane. The central annular portion has a void-to-rubber ratio not smaller than 10% and the module includes a plurality of second grooves located substantially transversally with respect to the equatorial plane. The substantially transverse second grooves define in each module together with said first grooves at least two tread band solid portions. The second grooves have at least one end spaced away from the adjacent first groove by a distance so as to form a substantially continuous tread portion adapted to connect at least two tread band solid portions.
