摘要： A development apparatus for developing a latent electrostatic image on an imaging substrate in a liquid electrographic imaging system includes a cleaning roller for removing back-plated developer from a development device such as a development roller, and a squeegee apparatus for removing both "drip-line" developer liquid and "wrap-around" developer liquid from the imaging substrate. The squeegee apparatus may include a squeegee roller having a crowned profile and a loading mechanism configured to achieve a uniform loading force across a pressure nip formed between the squeegee roller and the imaging substrate. The cleaning roller may include a fiber cleaning media and fluid delivery means for flushing back-plated developer from the cleaning media. The development apparatus also may include means for spacing the development apparatus relative to the imaging substrate without contacting the imaging substrate, thereby avoiding disruption of the motion quality of the imaging substrate.

In particular, the apparatus includes a universal actuating handle for use with different end effectors and that can convert a single handle motion into two separate and independent actuator motions required for actuating two separate actuating members. The handle also includes a collar that facilitates the connection and disconnection of the end effector to and from the handle in a single translational snap-on or snap-off motion. The handle also has a ratchet and pawl mechanism to provide improved control over actuation.

摘要： An adhesive tape dispenser is provided that includes a lower housing (200) that includes a pivot post (212) substantially perpendicular to a back wall of the lower housing, a back plate (230) assembly that includes a push button (244) assembly, a tape unwind spool (234), a lower pin (236), an upper pin (238), and a wedge (240) that is slideably engaged with the lower housing, and a blade assembly unit (260) that includes a cutter arm (262). The cutter arm includes a cutting blade (264) and a semi -tubular opening (270) that slideably engages the pivot post (212) of the lower housing. The cutter arm also includes an outer edge that guides along the wedge and lifts the forward end of the cutter arm (that includes the cutting blade) when the back plate assembly is urged forward by pressing the push button assembly forward. When the push button assembly is urged rearward, a lever arm and a lever foot (268) engage the upper and lower pin (238, 236) of the back plate assembly forcing the cutter arm to pivot so that the front of the cutter arm is forced downward allowing the cutting blade to cut the adhesive tape.

According to an embodiment, the cleaning pad is configured to clean a hot griddle surface that has a number of parallel raised ridges. According to another embodiment, the cleaning pad includes a non-woven construction that is impregnated with abrasive particles and/or a liquid cleaner or a dissolvable solid cleaner. In addition, a method of cleaning a hot food preparation surface is provided. According to one embodiment, the method includes the steps of attaching a scrubbing pad to a cleaning tool, contacting the openings in the cleaning surface of the scrubbing pad with the raised ridges of a griddle surface, and scrubbing the griddle surface with the pad until the surface is clean. Moreover, a method of constructing a cleaning pad for cleaning a hot griddle surface is also provided. According to one embodiment, the method includes binding pad elements together such that a cleaning end of the cleaning pad is comprised of end portions of adjacently arranged scrubbing elements.
