    摘要: An infrared intrusion detector having a predetermined number of rows of radiation reception zones comprises a primary reflector and a secondary reflector for each row of radiation reception zones. The primary reflectors and their associated secondary reflectors form a folded radiation path. The folded radiation path allows for compact construction and simple manufacturing of the infrared intrusion detector. One reflector of each radiation reception zone forms together with the infrared sensor a compact structural unit. The other reflectors of each radiation reception zone are combined to form a further structural unit which is arranged in a predetermined spaced relationship to the first compact structural unit. In order to achieve uniform detection sensitivity in radiation reception zones having different angles of inclination to the horizontal plane, a larger focal length is chosen for radiation reception zones with smaller angles of inclination and longer range. Likewise, to achieve uniform detection sensitivity even with oblique infrared radiation impingement, the surface area of the primary reflectors increases within each horizontal row from the middle to the sides.

The parts to be protected are cleaned, coated with a separating agent, and a mold is placed around them. A protective material is inserted in the interspace between the mold and pipe end. The protective material forms a tough, protective jacket. If desired, the jacket can later be removed by means of a tear-open element or integrated weak spots. For the protection of pipe interiors, plastic material can be pressed into the end of the pipe such that it seals against the inside lining of the pipe.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an arrangement for detecting deficient operational capability in a vacuum switching vessel. The arrangement can provide a signal if a fault occurs which affects the operability of the switching vessel. Instead of a signal, a protective device alone or together with the signal can also be caused to respond. The arrangement includes a body of a material which changes its physical characteristics substantially in a limited temperature interval and is attached in heat-conducting contact with a part of the vacuum switching vessel which has a temperature time constant as small as possible. This change of the characteristics of the body acts to initiate the above-mentioned signal or action of the protective device. The invention is suited particularly for application in switchgear with vacuum switching vessels.

    摘要: An infrared intrusion detector uses infrared-sensitive sensors with pyroelectric sensor elements for detecting infrared radiation from a spatial region to be monitored. Infrared radiation passes through an entrance window and reaches the sensor elements via focusing mirrors. Extraneous radiation, outside the useful radiation band, is eliminated by filtering at the entrance window and by an optical transmission filter, and by scattering at suitable rough surfaces of the focusing mirrors. As a result, the infrared intrusion detector is less sensitive to extraneous radiation and less likely to produce false alarms.
