Abstract: A multiple pill cutting device has a pivoting housing structure holding a blade holding assembly. Abstract: An improved dental hygiene device for wearing in the mouth over the teeth and along gums has a flexible open-support structure. The flexible open-support structure has two opposing facing bases, an inner base and an outer base. Each base extends the length of the device and has a curvature to fit over the teeth and along gums of a wearer of the device. The inner base fits between teeth and the tongue, while the outer base fits between the teeth and the cheeks and lips region of the mouth. A plurality of arch-shaped ribs extends from the inner base over to the outer base joining the two bases to form the flexible open-support structure. The support structure has a means for receiving and holding a cream or paste and delivering the cream or paste to the teeth and gums. The cream or paste is automatically wetted by the production of saliva allowing the cream or paste to wick and migrate into the mouth.

Abstract: A geomagnetic power generating apparatus 100 has a guide means 20, one or more moving permanent magnets 10, a plurality of coils 40 and a battery 50 or series of batteries. The one or more moving permanent magnets 10, each permanent magnet 10 has a north polarity N at a first end 11 and a south polarity S at the opposite second end 12. The one or more magnets 10 are located and guided along a guide path GP by the guide means 20. The plurality of coils 40 has each coil 40 positioned around the guide means 20, encircling both the guide means 20 and the guide path GP along which one or more permanent magnets 10 move. Each coil 40 has a cross section having an increasing number of windings extending from a minimal winding first end 44 to a maximum winding second end 45. The battery 50 or a series of batteries is connected to the plurality of coils 40. When the one or more permanent magnets 10 are moved, with one magnet 10 approaching toward each coil 40 and as the N or S end of the magnet 10 approaches inside the coil 40 an electric current is created along with a magnetic field having an opposite polarity at the narrow end 44 of the coil 40 relative to the entering end of the magnet 10. As the movement of the one or more permanent magnets 10 generates an electric current in the coils 40 to charge the battery 50 and as the magnet 10 leaves the thick end 45 of the coil 40 a similar or like pole S to S or N to N polarity exists causing the magnetic field of each of the coils 40 to push the similar polarity second end 12 of the magnet 10 out of the coil 40, propelling the magnet 10 to the next coil 40. The moving magnets 10 generate electric currents within the coils 40 causing a major propulsive magnetic field to act on the magnet 10 augmenting its momentum along the guide path GP.

Abstract: An otoscope kit has an otoscope with an attachable ear wax removal device for ear wax removal. A fluid dispensing means which is attachable to the otoscope for ejecting fluid through said ear speculum into the ear canal, the fluid dispensing means being mounted on the gripping body of the otoscope. The fluid dispensing means preferably includes a housing, a fluid supply and dispensing container, a pump, a tube connected to the fluid supply and dispensing container at one end extending and connected to a connector on a speculum cover. The fluid dispensing means is controlled by an actuator switch that is mounted in an opening of said housing wherein the actuation of the fluid dispensing means occurs without blocking the line of sight through the viewing means. The fluid dispensing means further can have a fluid recovery means having a vacuum pump, a fluid and debris recovery container and a tube for connecting the fluid recovery container to a second connector in the speculum cover. The fluid recovery means is controlled by a second actuator switch mounted in an opening of the dispensing housing. The otoscope-come ear wax removal system has the main advantage of removing ear wax under direct vision.

Abstract: A nebulizer apparatus according to the present invention has an enclosure including a primary chamber of ambient air, a medicant chamber and a secondary chamber. The secondary chamber is for containing water and includes an ultrasonic transducer and is in communication with the primary chamber. The apparatus further has a first switch for activating pump means for evacuating air from the primary chamber after which the transducer is activated for a predetermined time. The pump stops after a predetermined pressure is achieved. The apparatus has a valve that opens allowing a dose of powdered medicine in the medicant chamber to move into the vapor-rich primary chamber to seed and form a cloud laden with medicine. A mouthpiece is attached to said primary chamber to allow the patient to suck and inhale the cloud. The mouthpiece may further include a one way valve that seals the mouthpiece during evacuation and upon the patient sucking the tubing of the mouthpiece the valve opens to allow the cloud to be inhaled.
