    Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: a memory; and a processor configured to execute one or more instructions stored in the memory to: determine a scale weight for each pixel of original pixels in an original image based on first attribute-related information set by dividing the original image into an object region and a peripheral region, respectively; determine an additional weight for at least one pixel of the original pixels in the peripheral region, based on the first attribute-related information, and second attribute-related information that is based on an amount of a change between pixel values of adjacent pixels; and obtain a transformed image of which a size is changed from the original image, by applying at least one of the scale weight and the additional weight to corresponding pixels of the original pixels to obtain a pixel value of a transformed pixel in the transformed image.

    Abstract: According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device, comprising, a housing, a flexible display slidably coupled to the housing, and at least one processor configured to control the flexible display to display an execution screen of a first application on a first region of the flexible display which is exposed to an outside based on a first mode, detect a pull-out of the flexible display from the housing, and in response to detecting the pull-out of the flexible display, control the flexible display to display the execution screen of the first application on at least a portion of the first region, and control the flexible display to display an execution screen of a second application different from the first application on at least another portion of the first region and a second region of the flexible display which is exposed to the outside by the pull-out.

    Abstract: The disclosure is for displaying a search result for products. A server may include a communication module, a memory including a database which stores product information in association with one or more product images corresponding to a product and text information related to the product, and a processor. The processor may receive a query image for an external object from an electronic device by using the communication module, select, from the database, a plurality of pieces of product information corresponding to the external object, based on similarities between the one or more product images and the query image, extract the text information for the external object included in the query image, determine a priority among the plurality of pieces of product information, based on a comparison between the extracted text information and the text information included in the selected plurality of pieces of product information, and transmit, to the electronic device, at least some of the plurality of pieces of product information and information on the priority, in response to the reception, by using the communication module.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided, which includes an expanding flexible display. The electronic device includes a first structure including a first face facing a first direction and a second face facing a second direction opposite to the first direction; a second structure that encloses at least a part of the first structure, and configured to guide a sliding movement of the first structure in a direction parallel to the first face or the second face of the first structure; a flexible display including a first region mounted on the first face of the first structure and a second region, which is different from the first region, the second region configured to be accommodated in the second structure or exposed to a first face of the second structure depending on the sliding movement of the first structure; and a first electronic component inside the second structure and exposed through a second face of the second structure, the second face of the second structure facing the second direction and facing away from a first face of the second structure. The flexible display includes an overlapping region at a portion of the flexible display that overlaps a region in which the first electronic component is disposed.
