    Abstract: Provided are a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission method, and a reception method capable of improving accuracy of an encoder configured by an AI/ML model on a transmission side.
    A terminal device includes an encoder configured by an AI/ML model, encodes RAW data by the encoder, acquires encoded data, and transmits the encoded data and the RAW data to a base station. The base station includes a decoder configured by an AI/ML model, receives encoded data and RAW data from the terminal device, decodes the encoded data by the decoder to acquire decoded data, and verifies whether or not the encoded data is correctly encoded on the basis of a comparison between the RAW data and the decoded data.
